Hey all,

Freddie Prinze Jr. was on Howard Stern on Monday and he was asked if he was half Puerto Rican. He said his father was Half Puerto Rican and Half German.

No mention of Hungary or Hungarican.

Also, I was on the phone,on hold, intending to ask him questions about Kathy but Howard didn't pick up my call....In fact, he didn't take any callers for FP Jr., which is really odd because he always takes calls when celebrities are on...

FP Jr. was on HS's show one other time and Howard didn't take phone calls then, either....

Anybody have a clue why?

P.S. I didn't tell the screener the real reason I wanted to talk to FP Jr. I only said I wanted to ask if he gets fan mail now that his dad's show is back on the air.

I think the reason being for some strange reason Stern who usually goes for those hard controversial questions that nobody will ask actually likes Freddie Prinze Jr and has said so on many occasions that he is a fan. I think Stern has some sort of sympathy and knows how cruel his fans can be sometimes. He just wont go there with FP Jr.

It`s true if Howard really likes someone, he will protect them from the abuse his fans dish out,as in FPJrs case.

Although I can't stand Howie........ I'm glad he's protecting Freddie Jr. by not accepting calls. I agree with the other poster who said that people can be cruel and they would innundate him with questions on his beloved fathers demise. Did it come on TV already? Does anyone know? Freddie Jr. has his head together to get on the Howie show. (He's brave) I know I couldn't get on that show because of my big mouth.

FP Jr has been on his show a few times now and i remember onetime Stern was taking a few calls and someguy was gonna say he are you gonna shoot yourself like your Father did, But Stern cut the guy off real fast before he got it out and then he stopped taking calls and didnt take calls the next time he came in either. Im sure has to hear that often from some idiot on the streets.
