Hi, I have been browsing these boards for sometime now and finally decided to register. I have been a fan of AITF for about a year. This past weekend, it was fun to see all the Christmas episodes of classic TV shows (AITF included) on TVLand. I'm glad they're showing ABP now too. I was not around when AITF first came on (I was born in 1978). But now, I have collected the episodes on the Columbia House tapes and taped other episodes from TV and enjoy them. The tapes are better to watch because you see the full episode. I don't like how N@N cuts up the episodes, they take out entire scenes and dialogue.
I've recently dabbled in AITF fan fiction too. I don't know how you feel about fan fiction, but it's interesting and fun to write. I read the fan fic about Edith's death and that was excellent!
I've written my own AITF/ABP fan fic about two weeks ago. Besides being an AITF fan, I'm also a Beatles/John Lennon fan. ABP was on when John Lennon was killed on December 8th, 1980. I wrote an episode (and created a character who was a big JL fan) about how Archie's still dealing with Edith's death and how the character and Archie react to JL's death. If you're interested in reading, I can send it to you.
I also have an AITF page. You can find it at:

This sounds like a fun board and the people sound very nice. I'm looking forward to having discussions about the greatest show in television history! ::wave:
