Yeah, I always stand by the fact that most of my favorite Lucy episodes are not the classic ones. Most of my top 10 favorites consist of episodes that are often overlooked or forgotten about by people who aren't big fans of the show.

We all have particular jokes or scenes that strike us funny that other people don't think are the best. Mine are the scene at the passport office where Ricky slaps her and she tries to belt him, when he takes her hand at the Hollywood anniversary show and they dance together as he sings to her, the helicopter scene with the pilot, her dialogue and delivery there alone make it one of the best for me, i'm sure we could come up with 50 more that rarely get mentionned!

:lol: That one part cracks me up every time.

It was so natural and real, she deserved an Emmy for that scene alone! Lucy Desi comedy hour bests and the Danny Thomas one is NOT included, humm, don't know about that! Danny and Tallulah were the two best ones to me! The Danny one still holds up to this day!

I agree with you Splain, IMO the Danny Thomas episode of TLDCH was the best of those 13. It was a classic.

In one of those specials on TV where they put three of them together, Danny comments to Lucie Arnaz that it still held up to that day, and boy, was he right! The arm chair, the plant, the toaster, not to mention the classic pantomine in court, or my particular fave, where he kisses her when she's sitting on the bed as he thinks it's his wife, the faces she makes were priceless and so different from anything else she ever did!
