Does anyone know where I could get a tape (if any exist) of the 1977 reunion which was also a pilot for a proposed sequel series? I saw it when it originally aired and thought it was better than the dreadful 1988 reunion movie. Frank Faylen was still alive and Sheila James was thinner and Zelda was studying to be a lawyer and more believable that Dobie would have married her. I don't think it was ever broadcast again.

Yeah--I'm sorry that I MISSED that show! The stupid CBS affiliate in San Francisco ALWAYS messed up the schedule! I Missed almost ALL the CBS shows showing in summer 1977! My friend told me, that Maynard had gray hair ( yeah--I'd EXPECTED that. as Mr. Denver had been acting with his natural gray--in "Far Out Space Nuts" etc.
I'd like to see that show, too. Be nice if Trio or somewhere would show it!

I have it. I consider it one of my greatest video finds.
