What do u think was the most touching moment on cheers? mine would have to be on "No Help Wanted" the one where Sam hires Norm to do his taxes but doesn't send it in. Norm is about to leave after him and Sam get into it and tells everyone he has one thing to settle with him. when he gets in the office he satrts to cry andrealize that cheers is the only thing he has left and as much as everthing else sux, he can't lose the only thing he has left.:( I thought this was very touching and such a good episode. Whatis yours?

I would say it was the episode where Cliff goes to the hospital for a routine operation and nobody bothers to visit him. It was so sad. Well maybe not sad, but I did feel for poor Cliff.

The Cheers episode that touches me the most is, I Do, Adieu. This was Diane Chamber's swan song. That final moment when she leaves the bar and Sam says, "Have a good life." just kills me. Whenever it comes on, I have to change the channel.
I hated Diane's departure. It ended the best romance in television history in my opinion.

I agree, I Do, Adieu was like the saddest one! Also, when her and Sam break up for the first time! When she gets painted, I cry everytime I watch that one too! I can't think of the name of it right off hand... but it is sad!
