From The Stranger Dec. 19-25 issue:

Does Santa Claus really exist? If so, why does he allow so much evil in the world?:santa2:

that is a dumb question. Santa allowing evil...Whatever. that whole question is just weird. allow evil. what do they expect him to do, go around in his little red suit patroling the earth year round. that is just stupid.

watch out every body we've got a new super hero....it's a bird, it's a plane, no it's SUPER SANTA.

ugh

Because he's Santa, not God, he doesn't care about the evil, besides those were the kids that were probably on his naughty list ever since they could walk.

Okay, so I might get insulted for this, but my little brother asked me a question like this and it's heartbreaking to hear it from a little kid.

I told him that Santa Claus is only there to give the good people in the world presents and that he's punishing the bad people by giving them coal. But some of the bad people don't like getting coal and may act out and Santa doesn't know what to do. I told him that Santa is very confused and scared because the world is in a very bad place. Then my little brother went to go watch Home Alone.
