Did anyone happen to see Freddie Jr. and Sarah Gellar on the cover of the new TV guide? Wouldn't Freddie Sr. have been so proud! He said if Sarah wanted to continue working after they were married and had children, that he'd be content to stay home
and take care of the house and kids. Do you think Freddie Sr. would have done that?

I've seen the article and "NO" I don't think Freddie would've been a Mr. Mom. I think because Freddie Jr. grew up without the love of his father, This is the reason behind him wanting to be a Mr. Mom. He says he has so much love to give. I wish he would throw some love my way..... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I tend to agree, Jennylee. I did read the TV Guide article also. In his mom's book, our Freddie was a bit of an old fashioned guy in his thinking about the roles of men and women in a marriage, which I personally do not find offensive, cause I'm a bit old fashioned myself, even though I am currently employed. When my kids were younger, I did stay at home with them. Freddie seemed to express a desire to be working and having his wife stay home. But you must remember that this was in an era where there weren't too many "Mr. Moms" out there, at least not that we knew about. And it sounds like Freddie Jr. has the means available to him financially to do as his heart dictates, and stay at home with his kids. I get the impression from everything I read, Freddie Sr. never had those means. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif But even if he had, I still think Freddie Sr. would have worked, cause it seemed to be what he liked to do best! This is all IMHO, BTW! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif
