"Yes, the Christmas Wish..."

May you never receive the gift of a human brain. May you never be unexpectedly visited by your boss and his theatre group. May all of you golf fans recieve a set of clubs autographed by Arnold Palmer. May none of the guys receive a visit from their ex-wife, especially if she's accompanied by a reindeer. May none of the women receive a basketball pin when they deserve a diamond ring, and may that ring never be purchased from a dentist. May you never accidentally put your hand in a bowl of dip on Christmas Eve, or accidentally destroy a family member's Chrismas tree. May you never have to instigate conversation between a judge and a meatpacker. If you decide to spend Christmas in Vegas, may there be room for you at the Shangri-Las Vegas Hotel, with a $5 coupon for "Slots-O-Fun", a free shrimp cocktail, and a complimentary ticket to "Away in a Manger on Ice". And finally, may more men find the "woman" inside of them and realize that it is okay to cry!

It's great when I can actually recall every episode to which you are referring.

For some reason Coach stopped recording on my Tivo so it's full of Seinfeld episodes at the moment. Great ode to the holiday via the nostalgic Coach moments!

Hey Big Coach Fan,

I'm glad you enjoyed my Christmas Wish. Thanks for taking a moment to mention your appreciation. I hope your Tivo stops messing up, and you're able to resume your Coach tapings! Merry Christmas!

LOL, highloon, that was absolutely wonderful. I read it to my husband and he laughed so hard especially over the ring and dentist part, lol. I recognized most of the references in your 'Christmas Wish'. Thanks for taking the time to compose such a humorous and uplifting ode to Christmas.
I wonder if any of the stars from Coach read these boards? They're people like the rest of us, and with the exception of Craig T. Nelson, who's busy with The District, most of the cast has free time. Most everyone uses the internet so it's not shooting the moon to suggest that they read this.
Jerry, if you're reading this...I love you, lol. ;)

Hey Catlover,

I was formerly Highloon, but am now oneking. Had to reregister. Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

Since Universal dropped the ball on continuing their dvd releases, I'm considering sharing my Coach dvds with other fans. I have about 90% of the eps on dvd, from digital source material, NOT from the TV airings. If you have a moment, let me know if this is something you think other fans would be interested in, and what you think a decent requested donation might be.

Thanks!:)

Wow, these archives go back a long ways, 2002 and The District was still going strong.
