With all the excitement and publicity surrounding the recent launch of the Sims Online, I was wondering if anyone here is participating or plans to join in on the virtual online Sims world.

And if you have joined, what do you think of it?

I want The Sims Online!!!!! Of course, it prolly wouldn't work on my computer.... this site doesn't even work http://etrata.home.attbi.com/flash/pepperbanana.swf Tell me if it's funny or not cos I won't be seeing it... :rolleyes:

I am planning on getting it. I've seen little previews on 60 Minutes and Headline News over time and I really want it.

What is this Sims Online thing? Am I missing out on something?

Eh. It's not really funny but I like it. The pepper dances and then the banana dances and then a tomato appears and they all dance to some music. I like the one with the Banana and the Donkey better.

Apparently, it's one of the most popular computer games of the past several years. You make up a character/person, you live a virtual life on the computer through this person...
It's kind of hard to describe it, but just look it up on the web, you'll get pulenty of info!

Itll be expensive, So I dunno, 50 bucks for the thing then probably an extra 10 bucks a month

I did it for awhile, I didn't care for it. It costs 10 dollars a month to play it. You have to use their stuff, you can't dl wallpapers, floors and objects like you can with the regular games. No cheat codes either. It takes forever to build up body, skill, creative and other points. Personally, I don't think it's worth the money.

I'm not allowed to get it because you have to pay a monthly fee.
