For anyone who remembers the recent case of Amy Bradley which was featured on Unsolved Mysteries not too long ago, (the woman who vanished while on a cruise with her family) I just saw on Prime Time Thursday (with Diane Sawyer and Charles Gibson) her story featured again.

Apparently, some people got together to take advantage of the Bradley family by claiming they had information about their daughter when they heard about the reward for any information on the case. The family spent over $200,000 dollars to these people but were later found out to be a fraud despite their clever stories. The man in charge was arrested (he will spend 5 years in jail) and he was ordered to pay the money back to the Bradley family. They still hold on to hope that she will be found. Very sad. :( The cruelty of some people to take advantage of others in pain is simply amazing, what a sick world we live in.

Did anyone else see the story tonight?

Here's some links for anyone interested in the case....

I didn't see this particular show but I remember the case. That is SO horrible! It amazes me to think that there are people out there willing to exploit and profit from a person's grief. As if not knowing what happened to their daughter isn't bad enough!

I'm glad the guy is going to jail.
