sorry - please ignore the previous post - i accidentally posted it before it was finished. (admin - can you please delete it )

The Time Life set is now listed on their site, but DVD's are not shipping until at least January 10,2003. VHS tapes are available now.

There are 5 discs, each with 4 episodes. As everyone here predicted, the cost of each disc is $24.99 but if you order all 5 you get them for $99.95. They also have a preview where you can get one a month.

the episodes they've chosen are:

The Dick Van Dyke Show, Volume 1
The Sick Boy And The Sitter
Coast to Coast Big Mouth
Big Max Calvada
Dear Sally Rogers

The Dick Van Dyke Show, Volume 2
Where Did I Come From?
That's My Boy??
It May Look Like a Walnut!
October Eve

The Dick Van Dyke Show, Volume 3
100 Terrible Hours
UHNY UFTZ
Never Bathe on Saturday
The Secret Life of Buddy and Sally

The Dick Van Dyke Show, Volume 4
Oh How We Met On The Night That We Danced
My Blonde Haired Brunette
4 1/2
The Alan Brady Show Goes to Jail

The Dick Van Dyke Show, Volume 5
What's In a Middle Name?
The Curious Thing About Women
All About Eavesdropping
One Angry Man

BONUS QUESTION-How many of the 40 Episodes chosen as the Best were written by Bill Persky and Sam Denoff? (ok i'm prejudiced)

They have included The Walnut Times' Dave Van Deusen's great 'Walnut' documentary and each disc's description claims "interview footage and outtakes" but knowing Carl's objections, I'm not sure about the outtakes. I'll let you all know.
