I just finished watching my copy of Freddie on the Mike Douglas show.
I'm glad i have it for my Freddie collection and it was well worth it.
I hope i don't upset anyone with these comments.
I will always like to watch or listen to Freddie in any opportunity but it deeply saddened me.
1-He was obviously very sick
2-I have to admit until i found these boards and info on our Prinze i was very niave about him i guess i did think of him more as Chico(That's also the way his mom potrayed him in her book) I was upset to see him smoking almost constantly through the whole show-Even after he talked about having asthma
I also noticed that on this show as with CATM Freddie talked a lot of dying and death
(When he suggested he wanted a certain comedy routine of Richards if he didn't survive the message.
As i said before,i hope i don't offend anyone but it bothered me more to watch Freddie on Mike Douglas than it did to see the E true holly story(i think because for the most part The E show was reenactment excpet for his comedy.
Thank you Dave for the tape i will trasure it and watch it again and again.
It hurt to see Freddie appearing so sick.

Oh wow, I didn't know that one was so sad. The E-Story & the CAN YOU HEAR THE LAUGHTER were so sad. The way I went to pieces watching those, I bet the Mike Douglas makes me that way. If only he knew people cared about him like all of us. I watched some CATM's last nite with my hubby. We watched the Lisa one & I noticed how skinny he was. I realized poor thing the pills probably kept him from eating anything. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif It made me sad & I wound up having to get a hanky. My hubby said don't be sad there was nothing you could've done to help & he's in heaven now & happy there. I know he's happy in heaven but it's still sooo sad...
