Totally far out! I love WELCOME BACK KOTTER. John Travolta is my man in that show hubba hubba... Too bad he's not in there with Epstein but nice pic of Epstein & Chico! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif Chico should've been a guest star on WELCOME BACK KOTTER. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I noticed Freddie looks more Hispanic in that pic. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I remember that Epstein quote from KOTTER...

Speaking of Jaun Epstein (Robert Heyges) he was on an epsiode of CATM. But it wasn't one with Freddie tho. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif Too bad as they would've been great together. I forget which episode it was as the Freddie ones are more memorable. When they start showing the RAUL epsisodes be on the lookout for it...

Oh yeah, I know the one you're talking about,
he plays Raul's Uncle Zoltan. I haven't seen that one yet. I wish it were on at a decent time.

They need to do another Fandemonium.

Luvinjuan1980,
I just went back and looked at the picture of Freddie and Robert...and read the article this time. Very interesting and very, very sad. And as much as I LOVE Freddie...I have to say WOW! I took a look at those headshots of Robert and was blown away. I am so used to seeing him as Epstein that I was completely floored by just how handsome and sexy he can be...OMG! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I just read the article accompanying the picture of Freddie and Robert(Juan). it is indeed a very sad article I did find one consolation though.Perhaps through Freddie's suicide,we were all spared the possible loss of John Taravolta,Robert Heyes, Ron P.from Kotter when they decided to be there for each other to prevent what happened to Freddie from happening to them.

Also,it sounds like Kommack didn't do any of them any favors either.
I loved hat when Bob sai"you wern't stable either"
To bad Freddie had to pay the highest price of all.

I found the insight on Dusty Snyder to be VERY INTERESTING! I am beginning to think that everyone who does business in Hollyweird is out to make a buck.
And, no, that is not a typo...it's Hollyweird.

Well I can't believe that Komack gave Freddie back the gun! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/eek.gif I mean really.
That's not the act of a stable man.

I'm glad Bob, John, Ron and Larry made that pact too. I wish they had done it earlier.
I know they'd get Freddie in on it and we'd still have him.

Sounds like Epstein was a good friend to Freddie. Why did Komack give him back the gun???? http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif

Wow, that's some article. I must confess I just got around to reading it. (I tend just to look at the pictures of Freddie). Gee, so I guess he did have a thing with Racquel Welch. Suprises me though that he would still be talking about it after marrying and having a son. I love reading new things on Freddie and getting new insights. Dusty Snyder sounds interesting too. Poor Freddie..

Boy Racquel Welch must have had (and probably still does) have a long list of men!
She evidently didn't care how old they were either! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/crazy.gif

I have no idea, http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/frown.gif
I don't know what Komack was thinking
when he gave Freddie back the gun.

I wonder if Dusty Snyder is still an accountant.

I read somewhere recently that he never dated Raquel Welch. So I wonder if maybe he had a crush on her like folks do on him?

I got the impression from the article that Freddie was just talking about Racquel,If he was high he maybe didn't even know what was going on.
Since Dusty was there that awful night i bet he his doubly angry at Komack for giving Freddie the gun What a thing to have to witness.
Also Bob sounds like a standup guy,I bet he wouldn't have given Freddie back his gun.He seemed like a true friend as well.

Thanks for the article! On the "further reading" part, it lists various magazine articles--wouldn't it be great to have all those?
The next time I'm at the library, I might try to find all those articles on microfilm, (or whatever they use nowdays!). I remember researching at the library when I was in High School years ago and you could find just about anything from any time there!!!

chicosladyfair
07-29-2001, 01:56 AM
You can find just about anything from magazines and newspapers as long as you know the approximate dates of what you're looking for. I used to work for the library here in my town years ago and all the files were on fiche(pronounced fitch)film. If you live in a small town though, you might have to go to the nearest large town that has a bigger library. You should be able to make copies from this film as well. Make use of the reference desk and the employees.

Thank you luvinjuan!
the article was great! I did notice though that the article said "his 15 month old son"
Freddie died when Jr was only 10 monthes.
