I hate to see those commercials where a husband or a wife gives their significant other a brand new car with a great big bow on top of it for Christmas. Like the Lexus car commerical. It says "A December to remember".

I WANT A CAR with a GREAT Big BOW for Christmas too........................ :frosty: :(

Man oh Man do I agree! I've always been secretly repulsed by those commercials. They're obsene. First off, there are all these people running around trying to scratch together enough doe just to buy a rocking horse or something for their little kid, and then you have this overamped, blowhard couple getting all sentimental and cute ploping a car onto the driveway on Christmas day. I figure the delivery boy got paid 6 bucks an hour-- maybe a 3 dollar bonus -- for delivering it on Christmas day. Hey, if you're going to buy a car for your sig other, could you do it between seasons? They might even be on sale after Christmas.

I can see buying a nice cheap car for your teenager who needs one.. but when I get married, my husband can buy his own damn car!!!

And mine too.:p
