Lately, the past few episodes on TVLAND havent been showing Eddie.. was there a reason he wasnt in them? I mean, Wallys other friends were in them..

Maybe he had to do a movie or something? Let me check imdb.com. Okay, tonight they showed Beaver's Pigeons and I looked at epguides.com to see when that episode was shown. It was shown on 12 Feb 59. Let's see if Ken did a movie in 1959. Well, I don't see any of his movies listed in 1959. I have no idea then. Why was he absent during most of this season? Anybody know? This is gonna drive me bonkers if I can't find out.

Eddie does not appear for after episode #53, "Wally's Present" (Jan. 1, 1959) until episode #79, "Blind Date Committee" (Oct. 3, 1959). Apparently no one knows the reason, but it is true that after Eddie finally does reappear at the beginning of season #3, he is very noticeably taller and his voice has gone completely through change. It seems the writers wanted to be sure he was not forgotten during those 24 eps, though, as he is still referred to, in spite of not being seen. Consider, for instance, in "Wally's Haircomb," (ep #73), Eddie is the one Wally says started the trend of wearing the "jellyroll" hair style, but he is still not seen... and it would be interesting to see Eddie's jellyroll!
