On VH1 all week long they are showing a show called "I Love the 80's a 10 part starting with 1980-89 at 9pm and 10 pm PST and repeated at 12 am and 1 am PSt. Rick was on eps 1980 talking about the preppy styles that he wore. Be sure to catch all this week till Friday. He could be on the other episodes as well.

I watched a bunch of those. They were really really good. Plus they chose a variety of people to talk about the 80's. It was good to see old faces again. I was born in 1980. I really loved these series. I saw 80,81,82,83,88,89. I hope to see 84,85,86,87.
I liked when Ricky Schroder started singing the begining of the Silver Spoons theme song. Alfonso Ribero also sang a line of it. I wish they could have showed both of them singing the whole song. Both Ricky and Alfonso looked great. Plus they were in lots of clips. I also liked when Ricky talked about ET the movie.
For thoseof you who missed these I would really suggest you try and find out when they are on again and watch them. Especially people born in the 80's on this board.

My boyfriend cursed me for watching that!!! But, secretly, I know he loved it too. My best friend and I kept calling eachother during the entire week. Funny story, back in '83, she wrote to Ricky and got an autograph pic, and a bio. She kinda liked him, but I was a HUGE fan, and only got a pic when I wrote him before her. So she gave me her stuff 'cause she knew I'd love it!! That's what best friends are for!!!
