Does anybody know when it is? They didn't announce it after they showed the clips on Sunday.

Hey what's up.I can't wait for this episode.Cause Im so totally anxious to see the girls reaction when they see The Beatles. One of the big boy bands of the 1960's.My mom was telling me how girls and guys were reacting when they saw The Beatles in 1964.She was 8 Years old at the time and was there where ever it was some plaza or something in Ny or some hotel. She was telling me how the girls were crying.Jumping on the limo. She turned and said to me Oh Julia you had to see it.So I said I will on American Dreams January 5th.Merry Christmas 2002 and Happy New Year 2003. :) :D

I myself have been looking forward to this episode for a while. Should be the best episode yet, I wonder who'll they'll get to play one of the most famous bands of all time?

Well, this one guy earlier posted a spoiler thing about the episode, but I'm sorry,I hardly doubt thats the real thing from the preveiw at the end of the christmas show.Maybe they'll just use old tape, like they do for Bandstand. That's what it seemed they were doing in the preveiw. But I dont know, those are just my guesses.Merry Christmas,Happy Holidays!

I just wanted to say that I absolutely *love* the Beatles, and I've been anticipating this episode for a while. First, to clear up a few things: I assume most of you know the Beatles never appeared on American Bandstand. I heard that the show was just using their Ed Sullivan footage, and it's pretty much a given that the other news clips will be used. But I doubt that any actors or contemporary artists will be used to portray the Beatles. It would be unnecessary, since the Beatles didn't visit Philadelphia on their first visit to the U.S. On another note, does it bug anyone else that the show jumps right from Christmas to February? I mean, this is the will be the first episode of January, and the Beatles didn't appear on Ed Sullivan until February. Oh, well...

Oh,I didn't know it was going straight into February.Odd...

Maybe their going to have their months different then ours,so when the first season ends (I'm just making a guess) maybe the family will "go away for summer vacation" or something.Even though it'll be like,May here,it'd be summer on the show.I'm not sure, just a guess.

No it doesn't bug me cause their jumping from Christmas to Febuary cause a lot of shows really don't do A New Years Eve Or day show like they do Christmas and thanksgiving.Cause New Years is just an extra holiday. :) :D

Oh, Kate, that makes sense... I was just worried that AD was getting the timeline confused again.

Lol,thanks RM.And you seem to be soudning right, americandreamsgirl.New Years Eve/Day isn't much of a holiday you can really celebrate.

Also,it seems this show is bending the history just a bit, but,oh well,as long as it's still enjoyable,I dont care :D

I know the show does bend the history a little but It's still very enjoyable. It does focus alot on what went on in the 60's even though it does bend it's history a bit.At least we all enjoy it.I live in New Jersey. We went to Nyc saturday night.I went to the nbc store but they didn't have shirts or anything on American Dreams yet.so maybe in the spring they will. :) :D

I finally saw this show last week and I am so excited for the Beatles episode. All you need is 1 episode and you fall in love with this show.

Definitely! I'd only just turned 4 when the Beatles hit Ed Sullivan for the first time, but I do remember freaking out a few years later over rumors of Paul's death.

Doesn't really bother me that much--they pretty much have to jump spaces of time to move plot elements along. If they went 1 week our time equals 1 week Pryor time, the show would just drag along at a snails pace--and people want to see stuff like the Beatles and the British Invasion; the growing civil rights tensions; the coming Vietnam War; who's going to be the first one to wear a mini--I'm betting on either Beth or Roxanne...stuff like that.

Hey I actually think The Beatles are really cool.My father likes them alot.So does my stepdad.Between the two them they brainwashed this 17 year old into The Beatles.Im just relieved they are good.I kind of like the time being pushed up a little. It still focuses on things going on in the 60's.It's not like they go off topic often.Like not many shows have a New Years Eve and Day episode unless your the shows "Days Of Our Lives" and "Passions" two cool soaps and those others.I really love "American Dreams" and I want to see it become like 7th heaven and them lasting a few years.Cause I'D never get sick of it or think it's overrated.g2g From Julia. :) :D goodnight

I wasn't expecting the show to move at a week's pace. I just meant that *I* think it rushes things sometimes. My example was sort of a bad anyway. Big deal if it goes from January to February. Besides, we did have that two week break. I'm actually glad that the show is going right into the British Invasion. :)

I totally agree americandreamsgirl, but the only thing about 7th Heaven is now all its about is like, the kids and their 'love' issues.I mean, its funny and interesting, but I'm glad and I hope American Dreams wont start revolving around all the love issues and stuff.I mea the thing with Meg and her crushes are okay,but..it needs to have some other issues in it.Which it does.

I Just meant like staying a few years not just a year or 2 nothing about love lives.Which isn't bad to watch.Which the kind of show "American Dreams" is I doubt it will just focus on the teens and their love lives. :) :D
