Since we can't get the paid cable channels on our old big satellite dish due to not being able to find a descrambler for it, I am gonna watch my tape of it. It's a sad one. When he dies & they show the funeral it just kills ya. This time I'm gonna have a hanky handy cuz last time I didn't know it was gonna be so sad & had to stop the tape & get up to get one...

Does anyone have any idea how old Freddie was on the E special where he was doing the stand-up routine with the microphone and he's saying "thank you, thank you very much"? He looks very young, but he looks thin like he did in his older episodes of CATM. His eyes look kind of "dazy" and he looks rather "shy" so I wasn't able to even
guess how old he'd have been then and even "where" that was taken from.

I'm not sure of his age...although I suspect that he was older, maybe 21. From the brick backdrop on the stage it looks like The Improv. It is probably the one in New York but I think they also have one in Los Angeles now.

That was from March, 1976 he was 21, taken at the Los Angeles Improv. It is documented about his dark side. You can see signs of it of him being thin, but he performed well on his comedy club. There was rumours that Freddie had two holes in his upper nose, possibly from cocaine use. After all it was the 1970's and it was a crazy period looking back. Freddie was 22 and a half when he blew his brains out while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Freddie< Jr. occassionally goes to his father's gravesite when something good comes out in his career.
