View Full Version : Series Finale!
*GoodMorningCalgary* 12-17-2002, 12:28 AM ....will be in 2005 (season 16) how do you think they'll end it....the way the show is going now it'll probably end up in space on another planet. But I'm hoping it'll be more dramatic or serious or something like that....how do you think they'll end it?
Chocoholic 12-17-2002, 01:00 AM Where did you hear that the 16th season will be its last?
*GoodMorningCalgary* 12-17-2002, 11:07 AM matt groening announced it, it should be written somewhere at tv tome.com
Frasier W. Crane 12-17-2002, 12:01 PM Well, its not, And i'd like to see the article of which you have found this info. I'm trying not to believe it because I want simpsons a while longer.
Brian 12-17-2002, 07:14 PM I don't believe it unless Pavanbadal says it is true. You should be careful about posting this kind of info. People have been banned for posting false information. Besides, nobody will believe you because you don't have any past credentials.
*GoodMorningCalgary* 12-17-2002, 08:01 PM Loosen up guys, geez! I'm not making this up but it was at tvtome.com, your just gonna have to trust me on this one
Frasier W. Crane 12-17-2002, 08:10 PM Since there is no evidence to prove your fact, other than you saying it...WE CANNOT BELIEVE YOU...I'm sorry.
Brian 12-17-2002, 08:16 PM I'll PM PB. I couldn't find the article there. You could at least post it if you know the address.
Brian Damage 12-17-2002, 08:36 PM The last I heard, Matt Groenig said he would keep going until it didn't feel right.
*GoodMorningCalgary* 12-17-2002, 08:44 PM you see at tvtome.com you can't look up old news, once there is new news they get rid of the old one and you can't ever look at it again
Brian Damage 12-17-2002, 08:50 PM I remember an old interview he did where he was misquoted as saying The Simpsons would end soon. However, it was a misquote and nothing more.

YOU haven't even told us WHEN you saw it! Dec. 5th? 6th? 15th? When you put up a post like this, you have to give all the info -Where, When, And a link.
Chocoholic 12-17-2002, 10:00 PM I won't believe the rumor unless Matt himself says it to be true.
Personally, I think The Simpsons, Friends, Frasier, ER, the Law & Order shows, and a few others will be on the air long after the Earth has been swallowed by the Sun ;)
*GoodMorningCalgary* 12-18-2002, 08:35 PM I think I saw it about 3 or 4 weeks ago....Ican give you a link to tvtome but it won't help cause that article isn't there, unless maybe you could ask one of the people that work on the site for it.
Brian Damage 12-18-2002, 08:40 PM Let's just kill this issue for now until something can be confirmed or denied.
Frasier W. Crane 12-18-2002, 09:58 PM One more thing...if you saw it THAT long ago, why didn't you post it sooner? Got ya there...
APPLEI 12-19-2002, 12:01 AM i read in an article that matt groening said something to this effect "as long as there things to make fun of he will continue doing the simpsons
but were closer to the last episode than the first
episode"

because i didn't even know about sitcomsonline that long ago...i only signed up like 2 and a half weeks ago. but i would have....so anyways!!! no one has answered my original question. how would you end the simpsons???
Brian Damage 12-19-2002, 02:30 PM I'd like to see them finally reveal just exactly where Springfield is.

Gosh, I don't know how they'll end it, but it's been renewed for a 23rd season!
MrCleveland 11-20-2010, 10:42 AM This is why I hate "The Simpsons"! They'll NEVER end! They'll NEVER Stop The Simpsons!
But if they do...they should use EVERY Season Finale on TV that would work. The Simpsons go to jail, Moe's Bar closes, Mr. Burns dies and the Power Plant gets sold, Sideshow Bob gets released...and Blackout to Matt Groening in bed with someone!
