I know this may seem like a silly topic, but after watching several episodes of ALF this weekend on my tapes, I have noticed something that seemed to be used quite a bit on the show, and it's one of those older shoebox tape recorders. The only reason I'm bringing it up, is because it was on the show quite alot. At least every other episode, at least on what I had watched. Not that it's important or anything, but I just wondering...here are some "tape recorder" moments from "ALF" :p :
-ALF jokingly taping his will after getting in trouble once again..."I, Gordon Shumway, being of sound mind & body.."
-ALF recording his farewell to the Tanners after deciding to join a Monestary (and over one of Willie's good tapes to boot)
-Providing the music for his version of "Dance Fever" when he's "sentenced" to 30 days with no TV...
-When teaching Lynn how to klog dance for a beauty pageant...
-When he called the new neighboor in the middle of the night, and recorded it, to prove to Willie that it was actually Elvis Presley...
-It also provided the "background" music to many scenes, such as ALF's phony "outer space" message to Raquel, ALF's ghostwriting Jake's love letters, etc, etc...
So you see, for what it's worth, it was used quite a bit on the show...anyone else notice this or have any more "recorder" moments to add to the list?
:D
