As much as I loved Chachi...I don't know, I just had this weird thought about wouldn't it have been cute if Joanie and Fonzie had gotten together? (In the later season's of course. The Fonz is no cradle robber!)

One thing is that in real life(don't know about the show), HENRY WINKLER AND ERIN MORAN ARE 16 YEARS DIFFERENCE IN AGE. He's 55 and she's 39. I wonder if they're any closer to age on the show.

That's a very interesting point...well, what was the age difference between Joanie and Richie..2, maybe 3 years? (I'm sure someone knows.) And the age difference between Richie and Fonzie I think was only like a couple of years...so as far as the characters go, I guess it wouldn't be ENTIRELY out of the question.

There's really no question that FONZIE had to be the OLDEST out of all the youngsters, on the show

I think that is a very intresting Idea. I think that in the show, Fonzie and Joanie would've made a very cute couple!

Fonzie could never hook up with Joanie and here is the reason why: He was a little sweet on Mrs. C. I used to love it when she would call him "Arthur",kiss his cheek and he would blush and get all bashful. Priceless! No,I'm not implying they had any perverted Mrs. Brady and Greg thing goin on. A sweet "aw shucks" school-boy crush sorta thing.

Fonz was 19. (at least in season 2.)

(In a magazine I have, from 1976, Henry said he was 30, which made him 11 years older than The Fonz.)

I'm guessing Joanie was about 11 was the series started... making them about 8 years apart.

Funny you should mention this because last year I remember going through a "Happy Days" Fan Fiction website where someone wrote about Fonzie accidentally reading Joanie's diary and finding out, to his great astonishment, that she really loves him. Whoaaaa!!! :eek: So obviously someone else out there has the same idea.

That was my fan fiction site. :) Cool! Someone read my story!

If Joanie and Fonzie had gotten together, Mr. C would have had a heart attack. I always thought Fonzi to be overly friendly towards Mrs. C, but I think it was probably more plutanic, sort of a mother son sort of way.
