Well, like any good Trek fan, I finally saw "Star Trek - Nemesis" this afternoon, and if you're a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed.

Sadly enough, this will be the final movie featuring the Next Generation cast, but I think they've gone out on top.

The film has a very "Wrath Of Kahn" feel, with the Enterprise facing off against the evil Shinzon and his powerful ship in some great space dogfights.

So trek fans, get out there and support the Federation! And if anyone else has seen it, feel free to post your reviews...

I haven't seen it yet. Say it's gonna be the last TNG movie? That's kind of sad. Do you know why they are stopping now? The cast is still pretty young. Of course I think age was one of the factors why the original cast only did 6 movies. I'd still like to see another original cast movie. Then again it wouldn't be the same since DeForest is dead and they killed off Captain Kirk in the Generations movie.

Judging by the content of the story, plus I've read many articles, this will be the last film featuring the Next Gen cast. Why? I don't know. I guess they want to move on.
I hope this isn't the end of the Star Trek Movie franchise; perhaps they'll do one featuring the casts of "DS-9" and "Voyager" I don't think Paramount will give up on the movies. The Star Trek movies and TV shows have made them billions.

Thanks for the review - I knew it would be a good movie and plan to see it soon. I've been annoyed with some of the reviewers of this movie referring to the cast of TNG as "tired" (personally, I'm tired of bad movies that are remakes of other bad movies). I hope it's not the last we'll see of the TNG cast and I really hope it's not going to be the end of the franchise. I'd like to see another original cast movie too - Shatner still looks great - they could excuse his death. I'd like to see Scott Bakula on the big screen too.

Ya know, I'm pretty ticked off at all the negative reviews "Nemesis" has gotten.
All of these critics are saying how the series is doing the same stories, the cast looks tired...
While that may be true, the one thing at least one critic says whenever a Star Trek film comes out is - it's just for "trekkies,"

Well, duh!

Trek movies are for Trek fans! Sure, the plots are the same from time to time, but if it aint broke, don't fix it!
Besides, those damn critics still kiss James Bond's a$$ after twenty movies, give the Trek films a friggin break!

Whew! Sorry, i boldly went where I havn't gone before...

;)

Kirk was brought back in book form. Either of you read any of the Trek books Shatner wrote? He brought Kirk back to life there. If they do another original movie and they use one of Shatner's books, I hope they don't recast McCoy. Only DeForest could be McCoy.

You know, you're right. I can't remember the last time I cared about a Bond movie. After the debacles of Octopussy and View to a Kill (which I saw in the theater), I stayed away until Pierce Brosnan came in with Goldeneye. And I went to go see that.

You'd think I could tell you a damn thing about that movie.
But I can't.
That, in my opinion, tells you what series is tired.

Even though Insurrection was lacking, I'll go see Star Trek anyday over James Bored.

I did read "The Return," which was very entertaining. I know that the ressurected Kirk is in at least one other Trek book, But I haven't read that one.

Leave it to Shatner to coem up with a way to carry on Kirk's legacy!

"Crossover" was good too. Ever read that one?

James Bored is right, I wouldn't sit through that if you paid me. I haven't read any of the books but if they're good I'll give them a chance.

I couldn't agree wih you more!

I liked Nemesis a lot. I found it very entertaining! I saw some aspects of the series in it. That was fun! I think the character shinzon was slightly underdeveloped but overall a grand installment of Star Trek.

I plan on going to see it again after I see The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
