My fourth grade yearbook made a huge mistake with my first name. Instead of saying Brian (my first name), it said Brain! Has your yearbook ever made a typo with your first or last name?

Hell yes! lol Instead of spelling my last name right with 7 letters, they used 10 and like switched them all around. Idiots I tells ya!

Meangya.. you should buy ours for a mere $60! Its so worth it too! They glue 4 pages together, mispell peoples names, or *gasp* put them into the wrong grade! Half of the pictures didnt even get into the yearbook.. one senior didnt have her pic or message.. they didnt put it in there at all. Its so bad! I bet its because they were lost without me after I stopped going to the meetings.:p (After like, what, 3 times? lol)

Its made by the 7th and 8th graders so theres a heck of alot of typos. 2 years ago they spelled my name w/ no H. Last year there was a page w/ a creed that the 8th graders say at graduation and it had the words to it. In the creed the 1st line starts out like "as a citizen of the united states" and in the yearbook it said "as a citizen of the united stated" haha dumb ppl.

My yearbook is actually pretty good. I think last year they had one or two minor mistakes but everything was pretty well put together

Then we sell the *damaged* ones for like, until $20. Meangya, I think theyre all damaged.

The yearbooks at my school almost never have typos. That is because the people doing them are high-school students. I work on the school newspaper and yearbook this year. It's a very good class.

Well, we aren't perfect. We don't usually have any mispellings in the album section but maybe throughout other parts of the book occasionally. Hours are spent verifying information and sometimes a few mistakes just slip through. As far as someone's senior picture not being in the yearbook, I would most likely say it's the persons fault for not turning it in on time. And I doubt anyones yearbook staff glued pages together themselves... that's a plant mistake which they had no control over.




By the way I hate albums.

yup- in middle school we had two teachers who were married(Mr. and Mrs. Search) and they printed them in the year book Mrs. Search and Mrs. Search.

OMG Yes! There were so many errors in my 7th grade yearbook. They have a Brain *****, a Hunt Jr. (Where's the first name?), for one person they don't even have the name, they have some people in the wroing grade, and I could just go on and on and on and on and on.

Come to think of it, I think they got my name right every year. Jennifer is pretty easy to spell, but people really have a hard time spelling my last name. They actually got it right though. We did have errors in the yearbooks. Some of the pictures would be mixed up, my Senior yearbook was really bad about that. They'd put like the G's before the F's and crap like that. Words would be misseplled and stuff like that.

Hell yeah...typos all over the thing. Every year.

Of course, my school also printed an entire yearbook upside down...on purpose. That is the most annoying yearbook!

oh Yeah they NEVER misspelled my First name because EVERYONE and thier Mother have the name Melissa but My last name is European and hard to spell so NO ONE EVER spelled it right

Yes, many times. I have a very long german UGLY STUPID last name and they spell it wrong alot.

Last year, they labelled Wellwood Singers as Calligraphy and Calligraphy as Wellwood Singers :rolleyes:

Lots of typos in our yearbooks, one time they spelled my name wrong, but it was close enough!:happyface

Yeah, they usually screw up the names and pictures.

LOL yeah, big time. They had a picture of my friend from the Valentine's Day dance with her date, and they put the wrong name for her! They had her name as the name as one of my other friends. Her name's Nicole, and they said she was Jen... brilliant yearbook staff.

Ya, one time they left the 'a' off at the end of my name and spelled it 'Brian'..

Er I didn't get one last year and I'm not getting one this year because they are overpriced pieces of firewood in my opinion. *erm*

In 3rd grade and 5th grade I got one since they were cheap (like $15 for new ones erm) and in 3rd grade there were no typos concerning me. In the 5th grade one however, there was one. In the class part and junk, they spelled it right. However I won two awards, so on the awards page thingy they spelled it right on one, but on the second one they mispelled both my first and last name. Shawn *Cringe* (No offense to people named Shawn but er I don't like having my name mispelled to that)

Also in the fifth grade yearbook, if there were two siblings going to school they sometimes got names/pictures mixed up.

We never actually got yearbooks at the end of each year, we got one at the end of the whole scool and they ended up missing out around 20 people's names and photos.

OMG the yearbook staff at my school is so brave! They put "Osama bin Laden" under the principal's picture last year. They were putting quotes and my quote was "Life has many possibilities when you're Erica Kane." and they put "Life has many possibilities when you're insane." Bastards...

Well my name is Kristin and they sometimes would spell it Kristen. that's not too bad though they would mess up other peoples names a lot worse.

They spelled my name right but no one else does. My whole name has only 12 letters in it and no one can spell it right!!

Yes, they called this one guy Johhn Yackazakuchkiqui, his real name is John Yackczxsyukiki j/k LOL!!!!!!!!!:lol: :lol: :lol: NO mine hasnt made any typos ill look at my one form last yr, in 7th garde and check it again lol

My name has never been messed up but in 6th grade for my friend Lauren they wrote Lavern!

This isn't a typo but in our 8th grade yearbook at the bottom of the page it said who on the yearbook staff made it and on the best dressed page it had a picture and said, "Jamie K****, was one of the cutest dressers of the year" and at the bottom it said, "Page made by Jamie K****" I was like OMG, how arrogant can you get?!

not with my name, but with other peoples name yeah. Oh my goodness, last years yearbook (11th grade), they reused the previous years (10th grade) index! Isn't that stupid?
