I wanted to come to the boards with this since there are so many of you that have given me wonderful words of encouragement and support throughout writing The Barrio.
Chico and Allison's baby will be born in one of the upcoming chapters and I need input on names for the baby...first and middle names.

Ohmigosh! I love these names. Maybe Chico and Allison should keep having babies every year so I can find a way to use all these names. I love Manuel...it was his teddy bear and his rubber ducky. Chicosladyfair, I went to school with a guy whose full name was Armando and they called him "Mando" and "Mannie". Hope this helps. You are right, all of the names are beautiful.

I had always thought the rubber duckie's name was Ramon, but it made me wonder, why would Chico call his rubber duck by his own middle name? So when I watched the bathtub episode on tape recently, I paid very close attention and it now sounds to me as though Chico is saying "Herman" with a bit of an Hispanic twist on the pronunciation--no "H", and the last syllable sounds like "own". So yes it does sound similar to "Ramon" but I don't think that is what he is saying.

It is the show about Ed's invention the bicycle balancer. Chico tells Ed to go ahead
