Strong Medicine
(Sun., LIF) TVPG DL
After last week's shameless season opener--a man shot himself so his dying wife could have his heart--this issue-flogging medical soap opera calms down a bit. A fat woman has a stroke, a female soldier has mysterious symptons, and The View's Star Jones does a flamboyant cameo as a lawyer for people too big to wear seat belts. Medicine isn't just strong; it's on steroids, flinging sermons, emergencies, and health tips like cotton balls. It's OK public service but unconvincing drama. My score (0-10):3.

They certainly don't know what good tv is anymore. Look at the garbage that's being passed off as entertainment on the networks. Thank goodness for shows like SM.
