Not really on topic... but kinda. So, answer anyway. :-)

How many shows do you record in all? Current and old in syndication. Just wondering if I'm the only looney with over ten shows.

I'm recording the following shows:

Gilmore Girls beginings
American Dreams
Boomtown
7th Heaven
Everwood
The Golden Girls
Designing Women
Gilmore Girls - new shows
Dawson's Creek
Friends
ER
Family Affair - new version
What I Like About You
Beverly Hills 90210

And I'm thinking about adding the following:

A Different World
Roseanne
Kate and Allie
Boy Meets World
Sister Sister

Man... too much.

***Changes*** I forgot the major one I record every day. Days of Our Lives

How about you?

Kate & Allie - every weekday morning!! I love that show...I would also record Charles in Charge, but since we have digital cable, the VCR doesn't control the channels, so I can only set one programmed show a day, unless I wanted to wake up in the middle of the night and manually change the channel...does anyone know how I can bypass that with a cable signal? I'm clueless and the VCR manual pretty much says only 1 channel at a time for programmed cable stuff...

I used to record alot of other stuff as well, a few years back, but when I rarely ever found myself actually watching what I recorded again, I stopped recording stuff and just enjoyed watching it...recently I was taping Tabitha & Archie Bunker's Place, but I stopped that too...Tabitha because they took it off - :( and Archie's Place because I grew tired of it...

I know how much you can get on a tape. I am not at home when I record them so I have to timer record. I have to set it for a few mintues before which wouldn't allow me to put 4 30 min episodes on a tape, without cutting out some commercials, which i cant.

I don't tape that many things regularly, it changes frequently. I usually record the rarer things in TV Land or other channels specials. So far I've gotten over 1000 episodes of various shows in under two years. Which scares me.

Shows I Currently Record Regularly:
Three's Company
Dark Shadows
8 Simple Rules

Shows I Plan on Taping:
Sanford & Son (TV land January)
Archie Bunker's Place (TV Land January*)
The Donna Reed Show (TV Land January*)

*If they air new ones

TV Favorites

Right now, each day I record:

Family Feud (Richard Karn)
Pyramid (Donny Osmond)
Tattletales (Bert Convy)
To Tell The Truth (Alex Trebek)
The Price is Right (Bob Barker)
Match Game (Gene Rayburn)
Family Feud '82 (Richard Dawson)
Card Sharks (Bob Eubanks)
Card Sharks (Jim Perry)
Family Feud '84 (Richard Dawson)
Family Feud '90 (Ray Combs)
Beat the Clock (Gary Kroeger)
Who Wants to be a Millionaire (Meredith Vieira)
Weakest Link (George Gray)
Family Feud '85 (Syndicated Richard Dawson)
WinTuition (Marc Summers)
Lingo (Chuck Woolery)
The Beverly Hillbillies
The Jeffersons
Archie Bunker's Place (on TV Land when it's one I don't already have)
To Tell The Truth (Bud Collyer)
What's My Line (John Daly)
I've Got a Secret (Steve Allen)

That's about 12 1/2 hours tops...I don't record every show every day, but those are the shows that have the POSSIBILITY of me recording everyday).
