I was sent home early today because of freezing rain...I'm really glad I'm sick of school...and the good part is I finished all my h/w so I have like nothing to do tonight. :)

I got sent home from work early today because the system was down and wouldn't come back up until 3 this afternoon. I guess we just weren't meant to go to work and school today.

The kids got sent home early because of the threat of freezing rain and here it is their normal time for dismissal and it still hasn't started. I guess the superintendent is afraid of the potential of lawsuits so she erred on the side of caution.

Yeah I know, I'm leaving in half an hour for home. We're getting the freezing rain later in the afternoon, I'm taking tomorrow off.
It's supposed to turn to snow later tonight and they're forecasting 5-10 inches in Albany and more to the hilltowns.

Yea i was sent home early too..but when i left school it was just rain..i think that they were afraid that the roads would freeze

The weather's been as cold as I can remember over the last few days here, but no rain yet.

Consider yourself lucky! Be glad that you don't have to walk in the rain today as well as any outside work such as setting up the Christmas lights on your roof of the house, ect.
