As a full fleged (Can't spell) baby boomer! I was wondering about this question! Do you think Freddie would've dyed his hair if he were with us today? I know I dye my hair because I do not want to appear older than what I really am.

So the question of the day is: Do you think Freddie would really go gray naturally or would he use Just for men! (Dye for men's hair)?

I think he would've used Just for men! He would've been a baby boomer like me!

I would think he would let some of his gray show through. My husband is the same age and he actually looks distinguished with a little gray in his hair, (and sexy too http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif)
I think Freddie would have been very sexy with a little gray on top! Very mature and distinguished looking. There are a few older actors I like that are gray and still VERY sexy! Freddie would have aged very well I think! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif

I'm with you Luckymama, I think Freddie would have been "Mad-sexy" with his hair gray. Men always look more distinguished with a touch of gray at the temples or running through their hair like strands of silver chains. Mmm-mmm-good!

I sadly am graying as time geos on. The gray is trying to overtake the lbonde but I don't want to go thru the mess of coloring usless I turn white. YIKES!

Oh doesn't he though? I can't believe him with almost no hair! As for Sr., I think if he had gotten clean and sober (and had quit smoking) he would have aged very gracefully, very much like the drawing Karen64 did. Not much grey and not too many lines in his face. And what signs of aging he did have he probably would have accepted and not tried to cover with dye or plastic surgery, since he would have realized how precious life was--no matter how you end up looking--if he had gone through what it takes to break addictions.

Freddie would have looked handsome and sexy even if he had totally gray hair and wrinkles. His eyes and dimples would always dominate his looks. I sure didn't care for Freddie Jr. without hair. He looks even less like his dad like that! He does have a
cute grin though doesn't he?

I am, however, also a fan of shoulder length hair on men with the looks and hair texture to carry it off, so the thought of Freddie with thinning hair doesn't appeal to me. Hair does not make the man...just like clothes do not make the man. I love long hair on a man myself...if it's taken care of, but if my hubby went bald tomorrow I would love him just the same. Some men have the face to carry off having no hair.
I've seen men with lotz of hair down to their butts...and no charm. Real dish rags! And I've seen men with absolutely no hair at all and have the personalities and charm of a thousand men. Yes, Richard Gere has gray hair and he's gorgeous...and look at Sean Connery...OMG! I remember when Bruce Willis had hair and now he has none. He's still an attractive man.

I agree with ya'll. I love long hair on men. Funny thing my hubby has short hair LOL! Provers you go by the person & not hte hair. Still I would've wanted Freddie to have all his hair. His hair was the perfect length-- noo to long, not too short... I love to look at Arlo's hair. He has such pretty hair...

Hey Cheryl, did you see Arlo on the Boston Pops 4th of July concert last night? I had never really paid attention but I see now what you mean about his hair! And he sounded wonderful too! There is a person who has aged very well!

As for the other actors mentioned, I guess I am just too devoted to Freddie, but I have never cared for the looks of any of them, except maybe Sean Connery as James Bond.

BTW my husband has to wear his hair short because he works in a conservative business, and he is thinning on top and getting grey, but of course that doesn't affect my feelings for him. I just meant that I can't imagine Freddie without his hair, it was sooooo beautiful! I can imagine him totally grey--looking something like Cesar Romero, no doubt!--and I would still love his personality and the rest of him, no matter what!

Yeah, I saw Arlo on the BOSTON POPS thing. Since we don't have cable due to it not being on our part of the road & our old C-BAND (BIG DISH) satellite dish can't get the paid channels cuz we can't find a descrambler for it, I had to egt Mikes cousin to tape it for me while we were over there. I kept going into the back bedroom every so often to check it & see if he was on.
