Do you ever see something that reminds you of Freddie? It seems like it doesnt happen for a long time and then ..... all of the sudden... it will happen repeatedly for a time... and then stop as a suddenly as it began.

Here is what I mean...... I am watching the news and a broadcast mentions Washington Heights.....that is where Freddie was from.... he refers to it on his comedy album. This is not an area of NY that is often referred to by name, in fact the only other time I heard it was after 9/11....because some of the victoms were from there. And, then I watching TV and there is new commercial for Sears.....its for a steamer..... it has one of those cute little sharpia dogs ..... the ones with all the wrinkles..... he is supposedly narrating the commericial.... and after a shirt is pressed the dog says "Loooooking Good". If THAT doesnt remind you of our Prinze...NOTHING will. I mean THAT was FREDDIES signature line.

So has anyone else seen this commercial? Or do any of you ever have this happen to you? Sometimes it gets a little errie. I feel like he is reaching out........and NO I am not a crack pot.....lol...its just a weird feeling......

Just wondered what your thoughts are?

Oh, Tylersmistress, I know just what you mean. This sort of thing does seem to come in a series of examples all at once. Just yesterday I was walking through my office building. Someone was putting up holiday decorations and someone else said, "Looking Good"!!!! I spun around to look at them (as I always do when I hear someone use this expression.) You are so right, this was Freddie's signature line.

Too many other instances like this to mention. I agree with you though, it is as if he is smiling, reaching out to us and winking at us because he knows there are those of us who will catch on immediately, when it comes to him!

I was watching TV at lunch and we were watching a Game show on TBS called Street Smart and one of the people on the street being interview mentioned the phrase "Looking Good!" I freaked and thought of Freddie right away. Although the "looking Good" Phrase wasn't in reference to Freddie it got alot of us watching the show talk about him. We're like that's what Freddie Prinze used to say on Chico and the man!

Everyday a Freddie deja vu...
read something he did or said, many things he lived,we still do,...
things haven't change that much in all these years.
We many times live a 'do-over' in order to get it 'right'.
Then how could it be, that you get to know something new about
him, a new situation,...when it's old hat...
I probably told you this before-
..and NOW it makes sense.

For me, there are reminders of Freddie everyday!
From the obvious--(when someone says "Loooking Goood!", or, "YOU'VE GOT IT!"), to the not-so-obvious....a cool, funky 70's song, faded tight bell-bottom jeans, a tall, dark, handsome guy with sideburns, etc..
And then there's Freddie Jr. in magazines or on TV, and it reminds me of Freddie Sr., too!

I have been listening to the 70's R & B and Party music stations at Work through our cable company. When certain songs come up from the 70's Disco, Soul, Funk area. I automactically think of Freddie and smile.

I'll hear certain 70's songs on the radio & think I bet Freddie liked that. EVERYBODY IS A STAR by Sly & the Family Stone reminds me of Freddie cuz they used a version of it by someone else in the CAN YOU HEAR THE LAUGHTER movie. Song makes me cry now... :crying:

when I was in the grocery store today they had a sale on navel oranges and it got me to thinking about the thread on here Freddie's naval or shower scene!!
It's a good thing the freezer section wasn't too far away!

Did anyone see last nites THAT 70's SHOW?One of the girls, Donna I think it was says Looking Good in one part.

Also there is a new tv commercial for a clothing store I think like Burlington Coat Factory where these little kids are getting new Easter outfits & one of the kids says Looking Good...

I wonder if both of those were inspired by Freddie????

Since my mother passed away four months ago, I've been thinking a lot about life after life. I am not a big believer in it, yet would like to be for obvious reasons.

I never even knew who Jonathan Edwards (I believe that his name), but happened to turn the t.v. on when his show was on. I was watching him do readings for people who wanted to be in touch with loved ones who have passed.

That is when I thought of Freddie. I was wondering if he was around any of us. I know usually they stick around their loved ones, supposedly, once they pass, yet, he had so many people who cared for him. I wonder, assuming this is all real, if he would be hanging with any of us.

What do you all think about this topic?

I do believe he gives us information to pass along. I know that is what I've felt.

For many years I've felt different things. From certain people... One day I was on Sitcoms online and I felt Freddie tell me in my ear to put "Say No to Drugs" on my signature. It's like he was telling me that there were alot of young people on this site and he wanted me to pass along this message. I felt him tell me this. Maybe it's because of all the suffering he went through. After that I had dreams of Freddie. Different dreams.

I no longer feel anything. I don't feel his presence. He knows we LOVE him still.......

I have felt Freddie's presence many times in the last two years, and as everyone knows, he has been the inspiration for most of my writing. Many songs remind me of him--he even helped me choose the song to sing at my first (and only) voice recital. Certain books and movies have also brought his memory back to me. I have had dreams (both sleeping and waking) in which he came to me.

But these days, it seems he is no longer hovering over my shoulder, and my inspiration lies elsewhere....

But like you, I still love Freddie more than my words can say....

I think we should all get together and be the first internet group to go on Edwards show. And then if we were lucky enough Freddie would come through to Edwards, and then we could have a reading done for us.

I haven't actually seen the beginning of the show. If anyone has seen it before, tell me, does he just stand in front of the audience and wait for a presence to make themselves known, or does he book people he will do readings for on the program. Or a little of both?

Well, anyone up for it?

I've dreamed that he's come to me & told me he was allright. Hopefully he is since he's in heaven. I bet he si smiling down on us all happy that we all love him & are keeping his name alive.

Also on the MILLION DOLLAR RIP-OFF topic I have posted pics from the MILLION DOLLAR RIP-OFF that I took off the tv/vcr with a digital camera. Enjoy! :)

I still love Freddie so much that I would be willing to go on the show.

It would be really something!

I do too love Freddie so much I have been imagining him singing and preforming currrent songs lately. With the music we listen to at work. Lately it has been the party station . Plays a wide variety of music. through one of the many cable music stations. I have been imagining what would Freddie be doing, singing and preforming in the styles that are featured in that station, Dance, POP, funk, old new, all types. Believe me It has got me all fired up for Freddie in more ways then one. To imagine what he would of been doing now or then if he was still with us!!!

Seeing him in the MILLION DOLLAR RIP-OFF proves that if he were here he would've done so much more career wise. I wish he had lived...
