If so, please tell us your story. Brad Russ 12-08-2002, 04:47 AM I don't recall ever seeing an Angel, but I do remember waking up one morning shortly after accepting Christ and having the most wonderful feeling of utopia inside of me. It was an experience I had never felt before, and I felt like for the first time every thing was going to be alright. I tried to stay awake as long as I could and hold onto that feeling, but unfortunately I fell asleep and the feeling was gone. But atleast I had it for a little while. Also when I was young I used to get scary visions at nightime. I don't know if they were demons, or what but i'd be lying in my bed still awake, and suddenly i'd be up in the air and there would be what looked to be hundreds of these big eyed half human, half freaky looking creature things reaching up for me making frightening noises. I would jump out of bed screaming, feeling like I was going to die from fear. Fortunately though the visions ended around age 12, or 13, but sometimes I still wake up with the feelings I use to get when i'd see these visions. Those are the only clear examples I can give you of demonic, or Angelic visions, or feelings I can think of. You must have been scared out of your wits, huh? Well, if anything like that occurs again I suggest you do one of these two things or both. First, say this or something like this: "In The Name of Jesus: Leave Me Alone AND Go Away" to the demon and demon should immediately disappear. Next, turn to the Lord and pray and ask him to watch over you through the rest of the night and to protect you. I am sure those two things will help you sleep peacefully. Brad Russ 12-08-2002, 05:08 AM Hi Lucy Fan, thanks for the advice, and the nice words! I would definitely do what you suggested if this were to happen again. I believe many demons and evil spirits target young children because there so little and innocent, and in many cases there minds can be very easy to manipulate and mold. Fortunately for me as time has gone on these spirits seemed to move on, and now they only occasionally mess with me. Fortunately though now I have something I didn't have before. Jesus! Now whenever things are bad I just turn to him and he always eases my pain, and fear. Anyway thanks again for the advice!:) vienna waits 12-08-2002, 09:27 AM Originally posted by LucyFan Hello  That is a great story! I am sorry for all the fear you went through. I'll tell my story, well first I saw this angel and she was like "hi" so I said "wanna listen to my Avril cd?" and she said yah. It was fun. Oh, and one time there was a demon in my room and we watched some TV and chilled out. yep, my story. Chocoholic 12-08-2002, 01:33 PM One night a couple of years ago, I was in my dorm room and had a sudden urge to call my aunt and uncle. I am pretty close to them, but I rarely called them from school. I chatted with my Uncle Peter for awhile. Before I hung up, I said that I loved him. Two days later, he died from a heart attack :crying: :crying: :crying: I believe that God was giving me a chance to talk to my uncle one last time. Ewan's My Man 12-08-2002, 01:48 PM A few years ago my mom was REALLY sick. She had like small bowel overgrowth or something or other. Anyways, she hadta go through all this medication and treatment, and drink this awful stuff and she wasd always throwing up and always sick. Ok, so she was going on and off her medication and we went to the beach one year. Well, my uncle came down, but he wasn't my uncle yet then...he's my step uncle now, but I love him. So he was down for the day, just the day, and he barely knew us and he was out in the water in the FREEZING cold with his boogie board. My mom was trying to get my aunt in the water with him and was saying all this stuff. So eventually she said, "Karen, if u go in the water, you'll cure me". Now my aunt HATES the cold water and she wasn't gonna go in, but she couldn't say no after my mom said that. So NEwayz, she got up and went in the water. My mom never went back on her medication after that...it's been years...and she never went back on it... I don't think I've ever seen angels or anything like that, but I do believe in miracles. JoJoJoJoJoJoJoJoJo 12-08-2002, 03:15 PM I think that natural miracles can happen, cause I do belive in some sort of higher being. But as far as seeing the "white light"... na, i don't think any god would be that cliche (sp!?) fr00ti 12-08-2002, 03:26 PM I saw an angel perform live in Mobile on Nov. 2nd. :D Brad Russ 12-08-2002, 03:43 PM That's a great story Wingsfan. I had the exact same thing happen to me recently. I hadn't talked to my Oma since December 25th 2001, and on September 16th 2002 I had this incredible urge to call her. Well I did, and the next night she died peacefully in her sleep. I too looked at this as God giving me a chance to say goodbye to her. Iv'e had many more miracles like this happen, but I wont bore you guys with them. AnaheimPMWitch 12-08-2002, 03:53 PM well once when I was a kid (Ions ago) My Mom had JUST pulled the HOT kettle off of the stove and she accidently hit me in the head with it INSTEAD of getting burned though I felt this ICE COLDNESS it was almost like God put his hand there to protect me and prevent me from getting burned Also I have this HIGH sense of Premonitions I KID you not I saw my Niece in a dream before she was born and once she was born she LOOKED EXACTLY like she did in my Dream Hollow 12-08-2002, 04:04 PM My mama's an angel. But I am thankful for the Lord because he is the one that has helped me provide those words of advice. Without him, I probably would not have done it. I believe that in all things we do the Lord is there helping us and giving us direction and guidance. I also believe that we get distracted by the devil who leads us to temptation of doing bad things. I agree with you about what you said in your post because it is true. When we aren't looking and and seem to be the most vulerable the devil and his demons will do anything to get us especially the ones who believe. I am happy that you allow Jesus to be in your life because he is the light of this world. He's the good shephard that looks after his sheep. Hollow 12-08-2002, 06:08 PM - Titania 12-08-2002, 06:28 PM there are some things i believe are heaven-sent when my grandfather was in the hospital with cancer i went to see him one night, I remember we walked to the end of the wing and were looking at the stars out the window. He got this really sad look on his face and told me that three people died on his floor that week and that he would be next. we watched a shooting star fall before leaving. He died the next morning and the nurse said there was no way he would have known that three people on the floor had died even though that was an accurate number. The last words he said to me were "see you later alligator" one summer my friend and i were hanging out and we went to the mall, i love perfume counters in department stores so i made him come with me, we were fooling around spraying perfumes and stuff, and one of them was this REALLY strong peach. He died a few years later in an accident, after the funeral i was waiting in the car by myself, i was totally alone and all the windows were shut. i felt a breeze come from my left and cross the car past me and smelled that peach scent. As strange as it sounds just having that little memory again made me feel better. 1strunfan 12-08-2002, 06:28 PM I totally believe that there are angels and demons at work in this world every day. And, I'm so glad to hear the stories of people getting to say goodbye to their loved ones. I believe that God works alot in that way. He is always looking out for us, even when we don't realize it. Anyway, I've witnessed so many miracles in my life....For instance, my husband and I couldn't have kids. We tried for 2 1/2 years, and nothing worked. Then, just like that one day it did. I think God did that. Now I have 2 kids! When our son was born, he was 3 weeks early only weighed 4lbs 6ozs. But, he was totally healthy. With nothing wrong. That is a miracle. And, my daughter, when she was born, couldn't hear us talking to her. I didn't tell anyone, because I was so scared. Finally, I told my husband and we got her to sleep, then we both yelled and banged stuff and she never even flinched. Then, we joined hands and laid hands on her and then went to bed. But, ever since then, she has been totally different. She can hear perfectly now. In fact, now she is such a light sleeper, every little noise wakes her up. Another miracle. So, miracles really do happen. Thanks be to GOD. :) Max Whittaker 12-08-2002, 06:37 PM Originally posted by Titania there are some things i believe are heaven-sent when my grandfather was in the hospital with cancer i went to see him one night, I remember we walked to the end of the wing and were looking at the stars out the window. Thats cool. i'd be scared tho. i'd prolly say "in the name of jesus go away and leave me alone" if i didnt know it was my friend..lol Georgia's on my Mind 12-08-2002, 07:20 PM Well...When my aunt bought her house, we where helpong her move and we were talking down stairs and I saw like a platic army guy on the floor...so i just loked at it then we were talking a bit....and it looked as if someone hit it REALLY hard against the room.... but noone did it since it was only us there. That FREAKED me out to no extent. I think it was some sort of demon or angel.... There are other times I feel like I am being watched and get a tingle up my spine....but thats really it.
