This is gonna sound ridiculous and I've mentioned it before cause everyone knows this is my favorite ep. On They Call it Potsie Love, Joanie was hiding under the table and Potsie was being lead away, Richie did something dumb which I just loved. He picked up Joanie's jacket and just called for her. When she didn't respond, he said, "Come on, Joanie, I know you're here, I got you this jacket for Christmas" or something along those lines. Ron Howard just said it in some way. His voice broke at "I got you this jacket..." and it was so sweet. And it was just one of those moments you know you love, but you can't explain why, y'know? Ever have those moments, because they are the best.

Ahhh!! OMG!! I LOVE that scene!! LOl!!! I like Richie Fights Back. When Richie is in the kitchen doing that whole corn flakes bit lmao. Also, in Joanies Weird Boyfriend and Richies like- We're almost 18! Dont you think its time we stood up for ourselves? And Ralph and Potsie are like- Uh, sure, Rich. Yea. LMAO. Or, when Ralph wont come out of the locker. Hehe. In Cunningham Caper, I love the whole bathroom scene. And when Richie spells "helf" (help). lol. Then, Richie Breakes Out, when he knocks over the tree. LOL. Theres so much more, but those are just some that stick out.

I like "Crusin'" there are so many gags here, one is where the girl smears lipstick over Rich's face(strawberry) & of course the last one in which Bag is lifted up in his underwear among the crowd by Rich, Ralph & Potsie. Great revenge.

I love those brotherly moments between Richie and Fonzie, like when Richie told Fonzie that he couldn't stand living with Ralph and Potsie and all the funny things they did that irritated him and Fonzie smiled at this and then told him it was OK to not live with them if they drove him nuts. And the time when Richie thought he might leave for Italy with that reporter but then she left suddenly and Fonzie reminded Richie that his life was just beginning.

I also love when Mrs. C kisses Fonzie on the cheek and he gets that dopey smile. That's always so cute.

The hospital scene with Fonzie talking to God; Fonzie's talk to Joanie on her wedding day; Potsie proving the teacher wrong on his test ( Pump Your Blood ); Howard's speech on the last episode. ( Golly Gee ) that's all I can come up with.

Any w/Laverne & Shirley
The one where Richie & Fonzie are wearing nightgowns-the 1st w/Lori Beth-I like her a lot! She kinda looks like Shirley Feeney (from L&S)
The one where Richie says "I never want cornflakes again" w/clenched teeth.
Joanie & Chachi's wedding-so sweet!
Any where Mr & Mrs. C/Joanie & Chachi are being "frisky"
All the holiday ones

I pretty much like all the ones already mentioned so I'll add some others.
"Glove story"- Where Fonzie punches out a boxer, that was pummeling Chachi (who had a broken hand)
The ep where Fonz gives Richie dating advice
Fonzie saves Richie & Co, from The Dukes-The very first Fonzie save!
The two parter "Richie comes home"
"Fonzie moves In"
"Breaking up is hard to do" where Richie and Arlene break upright before the prom, only to discover each has no one else to go with.
"Kiss me Sickly"
"All The Way"
To name just a few!

Oh I loved the scene in "Fonzie Joins The Band" where (after Richie follows Fonzie's advice, and picks up a girl only her date catches him and calls him out to fight and both Potsie and Ralph refuse to cover his back) Richie shows up at the birdbath and finds he's outnumbered by two. Even though Fonzie was sore with him for kicking him out of the band, he shows up and covers his back. I thought that was so sweet. It was an early hint that Fonzie and Richie were going to be REALLY tight sll through the show, because no matter what, Fonzie was there for him.

I also loved the scene in "Fonzie Drops In" where Richie meets Fonzie after school at Fonzie's bike and Fonzie is holding a chain. Richie inaccurately thinks Fonzie is going to use the chainto hurt him because Richie refused to help him cheat on the test. Fonzie says it's okay and that he passed anyway-- he didn't have to cheat. But, he still decided to drop out.

I love all the scenes from the final season that have to do with Patton just because I can identify so much with them and find them very inspirational.

I loved it when Ashley called Fonzie "Arthur." And when Fonzie accepted the award for "Outstanding Citizen" or something like that and he is nervous to come down because he is wearing Howard's suit. Heather says he looks funny, and he tries to go back upstairs, but Ashley assures him it's just because he is making so many faces. Afterward, Heather kisses Fonzie and tells him to "go get 'em." Fonzie wants to practice the speech more, but Heather assures him it's perfect. Then, she closes the door behind him and says, "If I hear that speech one more time i think I'm going to go crazy." I pretty much loved all the scenes between Heather and Fonzie.

I loved "Fonzie's Blindness." Though it was painful to watch Fonzie that vulnerable, it was also very emotional and inspirational. It was a true test of courage and friendship.

I loved the episode where Chachi decides to take up boxing so he can impress Fonzie who used him as a coat rack during a rumble. Fonzie had to jump in the ring to punch out Chachi's opponent (also a fave part! But, it was previously mentioned by someone else). Chachi is telling Fonzie that he feels like Fonzie doesn't respect him. Fonzie puts something on Chachi's back, but the camera doesn't let us see what it is. Fonz tells Chachi that what he admires is that Chachi had the guts to stand up to him and tell him his feelings, and that most guys couldn't do that. Fonzie takes off his leather jacket and asks Chachi to put it on. Then, he takes Chachi's boxing rober, which read, "Fonzie's Cousin", and puts it on. As they turn to leave, the audience sees that the robe now says, "Chachi's Cousin." Earlier, Fonz had attached a sticker that said Chachi's name. I thought that was so sweet. Fonzie was letting everyone know that he was proud to be Chachi's cousin.

I loved the part one of the graduation episode. Fonzie insulted Marion by saying she had a big mouth and blabbed to the boys that he was back in school. Then, at the dance, Howard asks Fonzie to talk with Marion because she was upset that she had told his secret and that she never did it purposely. Howard reminded him of everything that Marion did for him. There's a cute scene with them making up.

I loved the episode, "Fonzie Moves Out," when Howard and Marion go up to Fonzie's apartment and Fonzie is angry because he thinks they are deserting him. They tell him that he is still very much a member of their family, and that their moving doesn't change that. They tell him that whenever he needs them, they will be on the first plane back to Milwaukee to see him....that's what makes a family.

I loved the scene where Fonzie finds out Howard blackballed him from the Leopard Lodge. Howard tells him how he didn't really like Fonzie when they first met and how he thought Fonzie would be a bad example for his kids. But, he adds that he was wrong and that Fonzie became like a son to him and helped him and his family on so many occasions. I loved that whole speech between them, it was very touching.

I am torn between the two-parter, "Welcome Home Richie." While I was not a fan of Richie's attitude in this episode, I did love Fonzie's reactions to Richie throughout the show and how he welcomed him and was so happy to see him. He was so brotherly here.

I could list off more, but this post is getting kind of lengthy.

The funniest moments that stick out for me are the one where Richie, Potsie and Ralph carry Bag in his underwear through Arnolds Drive In  Or the one where Chachi joins Joanies play because hes jealous of that other guy and messes up all his lines LOL

My saddest moments had to be Fonzie's speech to God when Richie was in the hospital. That was a classic. And when Richie opened the door of the garage and saw Fonzie sitting there, boiling a can of beans. And I have to have a Potsie moment in here: When Potsie saved Fonzie's life and Fonzie insulted Potsie so horribly. Potsie came out of the stall with that tragic look on his face and told Fonzie he didn't want to hang out with him anymore. That was so sad and that was my only "I hate Fonzie" moment. I'm crying thinking about all of these moments...

Oh, I totally agree with you. I shed a tear at all these (well, I actually broke down and cried over Fonzie's speech to God). I also thought Fonz was being totally insensitive to Potsie in the episode where Potsie saved his life. As Potsie came out and told Fonz that they couldn't hang out anymore because he needed his space, you could actually see Fonz putting his foot in his mouth. He realized that Potsie had overheard him talking to Richie, and felt horrible. I thought it was great how he invited him along on his date with the Aloha Pussycats, though.

I agree with you on that, but first of all Fonzie never really did like Potsie, so that ep. was a change in their relationship, and was insultng whne Fonzie had said that , and was great when he invited Potsie on his date with the Aloha pussycats, but I still think Fonz and Potsie maybe shouldve bought Richie and Ralph on their date with the Alohas LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and me too!! LOL

Another of my saddest moments was watching Richie's and Fonzie's final goodbye. It was so hard seeing such good friends parting. All through the show, the plotlines kept building up to think that Richie and Fonzie would be best buds the rest of their lives. That they'd always be right there together so if one needed the other, he'd be there. And the saddest part is knowing how best friends never stay best friends when they live so far apart. Their friendship will never be the same. Oh, I just came up with a wonderful plot for a fanfic piece. Maybe some day I'll have time to write it. *LOL*

And of course, Howard's final toast to Happy Days was gut wrenching. I kept wanting him to stop, so that he wouldn't finish that toast. Because, I knew that as soon as he finished, that would be the end of Happy Days. It's so weird watching all the characters grow up. You start to feel like you're connected to their lives and are watching family videos where you get to find out what's going on today. Then, the series ends and you keep wondering, "I wonder what they're doing now." But, you'll never know. You can only imagine. Luckily, we have fanfics, so we can still feel connected to them.

Yeah, both of those were touching moments, Both those brought tears to my eyes..Good thing nobody saw me..They'd think I was crazy lol. And yes we all only can dream what wonderfull things could have happened after the series ended. I always wonder what would have happend if there was another season. *Sigh* but there wasn't and we can only wonder how good It could have been. :( I also agree about the "Connected part".

My favorite scenes are Ralph and Fonzie scences.

My favorite scene is after Ralph told fonzie that he's the one that ran over his bike. Ralph got on his knees and begged Fonzie to spare his life and said "PLEASE FONZ! DON'T KILL ME!" Lol, my friend and myself used to act that scene out.

My other favorite Ralph/Fonz scene was when Ralph was running away and he stopped in Fonz's garage to give him something. Ralph was going to give Fonz that poster of Ralph's face (if you remember it...big black and white photo of Donny's smiling face). I always loved how the Fonz just looked at the poster for a moment like he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

Off topic for a sec. That's not always true. I live in NJ and my best friend now lives in Arizona. He comes home at least once a month and we also talk on the phone and via E-Mail. We can't hang out all the itme the way we used to, but we're still best friends. No one can replace all the time and memories you spend with a best friend, so a move shouldn't change that. It's just part of getting older. Real best freinds know that and adjust.

I think that's great that you can maintain your friendship like that! Wow!

Unfortunately, for myself and people I know, it was never that easy. The part about the "special bond filled with memories that can never be erased" part rings so true! You BF always has a spot in your heart. But, for me, as we got on with our lives, we met other people who became our new best friends and our lives changed to revolve around our new best friends. Schedules get chaotic and it's hard to keep in touch....even with email. Though those friends will never be "replaced" so to speak, we change and drift apart by circumstance rather than choice.

My favorite part in the episode is when Richie mouths "I Love You" and the caterer gives this "Youre weird" look. LOl. Cracks me up ALL the time w/o fail!

I agree, Welcome Home.. when Richie enters for the first time.. I lose it.. I start like, screaming and cheering lol. Then, he like, attacks his room. Ugh. I hated the way he acted! Although, I must say his "fight" with Arnolds Drive In & the bathroom (Richie Fight Back) is hilarious.

The thing that makes me bawl in Passages Part 2 is the episode clippings to Elvis' "Memories" :(

I agree with the way Fonzie treated Potsie in that episode. That made me so mad-- he was so selfish. When I see Potsie come out.. I feel so bad!!:(

In You Go To My Head.. Marion & Howard telling Joanie not to get to close to Richie-- LMAO.

Me too! In fact, the episode where Joanie tells her Mom and Dad she wants to move to Chicago and then it shows how Howard has difficulty letting go because she's still his little girl and they show clipings of her as a child makes me cry! And that wasn't even the end of the show. *LOL*
