I hadn't seen 'Leave it to Beaver' in a long time until recently. It's a great show! Funny and touching. And it's more realistic than I remembered it being, as far as what kinds of problems the boys get into and how June and Ward handle them. :)

Yeah. Thats one of the things I noticed right away too. People are always saying that the old shows weren't real and that they had perfect families and thats made up. This show is more real than most of the shows people sometimes say are real. The kids seem real and the families aren't perfect. Ward is always getting mad, Beaver is an average student who would rather play baseball than go to school, June and Ward have fights. I can't think of any character that is too good to be true or that doesn't have faults and some of them have a lot of faults. I like what you said about funny and touching too. Thats what I like in a tv show and its one of the reasons I like this one. Even the way Beavers friends are always getting him into trouble is pretty real. There are always kids like that good kids whose friends get them into trouble.
