Do any of you think it would have been cool if DS would have done a flashback episode with Willis and Arnold's mother? I was just thinking about this earlier today and I think a flashback episode with the mother would have been good cause it would have explained a few things like why she lived in Harlem, and not with Mr Drummond. Several several months ago, probably close to a year ago actually someone brought up a good point about how Arnold's mother and the boys not living with Mr D. was strange considering the fact that the other housekeepers lived with him. The only explanations I can think of as to why she didn't live with him is #1 maybe she had too much pride, and didn't want to take charity. #2 maybe Mr Drummond didn't want the responsibility of having another family in the house. or #3 maybe the writers just never really thought about it. I just find it weird because there were atleast 4 rooms in the house, so why didn't they all live with Mr D? Anyway I think a flashback episode would have been the perfect way to explain some of these things. What do you all think?

Interesting thought, it would give the viewers a better understanding and a better image in their minds, I think it could have worked, if they had used that idea.

I guess the closest thy came to that was to have the mother's voice on tape in the "Memories" episode.

I think that if they did do a show about the boy's real mother, it would have been cool. It would also be a great way to finish the series and sorta bring it into full circle.

I don't think they ever mentioned it.

I think Arnold and Willis mother was Kimbley dad's Maid intill she passed away.
