Some fool on E-bay is trying to pass off a pic of Tony Orlando as Freddie....I can't imagine someone not knowing the difference!!!!

I was searching on the internet on Freddie & came across this from a Tony Orlando & Dawn site. His fans are as devoted to him as we are the Prinze & on this page a fan mentions our Prinze. Evidently he's become friends with some of his fans. If only we could've met Freddie!

You won't believe this one - one major newspaper, (I don't know which) printed a picture of Tony Orlando instead of Freddie when reporting on his death. They made a retraction, but what a horrible incident!! How could they?? They are journalists for crying out loud. It's not like Tony & Freddie were identical twins, they hardly looked alike! I read this somewhere, if I find out the details, I'll post it here.

Did anyone e-mail him/her to let them know they were selling a picture of Tony not Freddie? It may have been a mistake on his part but yes, it was obviously Tony!! Did anyone make any bids on it or buy it?

I've been lurking here a while. I
e-mailed the seller and told him it was Tony
Orlando and not Freddie. He pulled the photo and apologized. I don't think he was doing it to get over on anyone. I'm sure it was a simple mistake.

That's what I thought catsncubs. I really couldn't imagine why anyone would intentionally try to mislead someone like that. If I had made a mistake like that I would surely want someone to point it out to me before I made too much of a fool of myself. I believe that picture of tony is from his show. It looks like a sketch act.

I can't believe someone would be dumb enought to try and sell a picture of Tony Orlando and claim it was Freddie ! As a true Freddie fan as well as everyone else here knows that it is Tony and not Freddie. It's a great pic though.
