Sounds like a neat product for personal use, but I would not purchase, & then give as gifts, illegal bootleg items.

Definitely a bootleg,trying to get back all that money for that dvd recorder.I figure a few years down the road those dvd recorders will become affordable,then we all have the task of switching everything over.
