Perhaps some of you can help me settle a bet I have with a fellow DS fan. He states that the identity of the gooch was revealed in one of the later episodes and that it was really a girl. That they showed what she looked like and everything.

I state that the gooch was never revealed. Perhaps my friend was thinking of another episode where a bully was revealed to be a girl.

Can anyone please settle this bet once and for all?

Your friend could have been getting confused with the fact that the Gooch was beat up by a girl in a later episode.

But the identity of The Gooch was never revealed or shown and was often referred to as "he."

He was was only talking to Gary Colemen on the Phone.

I read this on another part of the DS board, but I can't remember who said it. The person I'm thinking of said they prob. didn't show The Gooch because the writers wanted the viewers to picture the Gooch in their own mind. I think if they had actually shown Gooch the viewers would've been disappointed. I'm sure several of us picture this humongous kid that was as big as a house or something like that. If we saw a normal size kid, it would've been disappointing.

Arnold always described the Gooch as someone who was almost like a full sized adult who was repeatedly left back. As a matter of fact, I think the Gooch was in the same class as Sam as well.

LOL...we shouldn't make humor of one persons bout with the educational system. ;)
