I'm just wondering. I heard it was a pretty good movie and that she was great in it. I'll probably just wait for it to come out on dvd to check it out myself.

I saw it the day of it's release in NYC. It was a fun little story. Bebe kicked ass, as usual. There was talk of an oscar nom. for her... her performance was seriously that good. She totally stole the movie, yet the plot itself was still interesting. She just made it all the more better. ;)

Aaron Stanford was a cutie and all, but I was totally having a hard time buying him being 15. That kind of made the whole crush/tryst thing a little more easy to bear. LOL. Otherwise, I would have been completely disgusted... it was done in good taste, though. The crush on Sigourney's character WAS sweet, despite what Starr Jones says. It wasn't tactless. He appreciated Eve for the woman she was... it wasn't just like a sexual attraction to his step-mother. It was deeper than that.

The little tryst with Bebe's character, Diane, was a little more disturbing. However, it wasn't something "planned," it just happened. So, the aftermath was what made the movie humerous in general. At least the parts that *I* found to be the most humerous. :)

Definitely worth seeing. Buy the DVD when it's released! :)

Cool, thanks for the info, now i'm really looking forward to seeing it. I don't think i'll be disgusted to see it either. Even though the boy's character is only 15 I think it would be harder for me to watch if it was a 15 year old girl with a 40 something man. I know that's a double standard, but usually women don't mind a younger girl with an older man in a film as much, but are disgusted with younger men with older women. Same goes for guys only vice versa. Watching American Beauty was pretty difficult for me, but I don't think tadpole will be as difficult. Anyway thanks again for the info! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it.

Well, I think any adult well into their years with a minor is wrong... with the minor being either given gender. I just didn't mind it all that much because it was done tastefully. It was done more in humor than anything else. It's really a good movie. :-D
