For those who don't know, Mary is in a new TV-movie coming on this Sunday (Dec. 8) on TNT. The movie is called Miss Lettie and Me and airs at 8 PM EST. It looks like it should be a good holiday film (But then again, what would we expect? It's MARY!! :lol: ) Here's the ad I found in Time magazine:

I'm bumping this up. What did everyone think of this movie? I personally thought it was really good! A very un-Mary-like role, but she did a really good job with it (as usual!)

I loved the movie, too. I even taped it when it came on again at 11. I'm gonna watch it going to sleep on Christmas Eve. When Travis brought Orphan:quest: to school, it reminded me of "Mary had a little lamb." Mary was wonderful in it as usual. I thought it was funny when she was trying to drive her car.:)

Slightly OT, but speaking of Mary in non-Mary-ish roles. Has anyone seen "Ordinary People", and if so is it worth seeing? (not that anything with Mary isn't, but you know what I mean...) Thanks. :)

It's been a while, but it is worth seeing. The movie was generally well regarded by critics and the public. Mary Tyler Moore was nominated for an Oscar for her role in it.
