For anyone who likes seeing bloopers in tv shows I found a couple of funny ones on my latest Aitf DVD. One of the bloopers comes at the end of Mike's hippie friends come to visit. As Archie is asleep on the chair and the family is behind him singing trying to wake him up, if you look behind them you'll see a microphone in plain view slowly going up. I thought it was pretty funny. Also at the beginning of the next one entitled Lionel moves into the neighborhood as Archie is talking to Edith if you look behind Arch at the wall you can see a mystery shadow trying to get out of the way. For some reason I enjoy seeing funny little bloopers like this. If anyone else has this DVD, you should check it out.

Another blooper is from the episode that deals with Mike and Gloria buying the house next door, I think. It occurs right after Mike has his face shoved in the cake by Archie, Mike supposedly starts eating the cake, but if you look closely, before the camera cuts away you can see Rob Reiner spitting the cake back out into his hand; I guess the camera stayed on Rob longer than they should have.

A couple of other bloopers I've noticed are in the flashback episode where Mike and Gloria meet on a blind date, the are in the kitchen together. When Gloria takes a box of baking soda out of the fridge to look for a snack for Mike (how prophetic!), there is a UPC computer barcode on the box. Supposedly, Mike and Gloria met in 1969, and those codes didn't appear on packages until the very late 1970s or early 80s. Also, Edith was said to have graduated from Filmore High in the episode where she attends her 20th reunion. However, in a later episode when Archie is being conned into setting up a reunion of his class at Archie's Place (this may have been on ABP), he states that Edith graduated from Bayside High. :confused:

I've noticed a lot of goofs on AITF:


1) In the episode "Archie's Chair", when Sally Struthers comes in right after Rob Reiner breaks the chair, you can see a shadow of a microphone on the dining room table.


2) In "Now That You Know The Way, Let's Be Strangers" you can see Jean Stapleton take a quick glance at the microphone above Carroll O'Connor.


3) In the closing credits of "Archie's Operation - Part I", the character of Dr. Wynell Thatcher is incorrectly credited as Dr. Thatcher Wynell.


4) In the closing credits of "Edith's Night Out", the character of Joe Foley is incorrectly credited as Mr. Benjamin.


5) In "Lionel Moves Into The Neighborhood", you can see the shadow of a microphone on the wall behind Jean Stapleton.


6) In "Mike Makes His Move" the camera picks up Rob Reiner spitting out a piece of chocolate cake.


7) In the closing credits of "Edith's Final Respects" the word director is spelled wrong {diretor} in Funeral Director.


8) In the closing credits of certain episodes from the 9th season the credits are tilted a lot.


9) In the closing credits of "The New Year's Wedding" the character of Jack is incorrectly credited as Bill.
