For example, I'm giving my friend her gifts this week because they're seasonal gifts. She loves Elvis. I bought her an Elvis Christmas music CD, an Elvis calendar, and a dated friendship tree ornament (boxed Lenox). I figure she'll want to listen to the CD all month, put the ornament on her tree soon, and I don't want her to buy her own calendar. I'm also mailing an Ireland Travel Guide book to a friend because he's going there for Christmas, and I figure it'll come in handy now. I'll also mail my niece her cash gift this week, so she can have more money to enjoy the holiday season. She's 19. Hundred bucks, she loves me.
