Does anybody here get Boomerang? My cable company is adding the channel and I want to know if anybody likes it and what shows they have.

I get Boomerang and I LOVE IT. It shows Captian Caveman and the Teen Angels, Galtar, Mighty Man and Yuck, Mr.T, Underdog and ALOT of others. If you're a fan of old school cartoons, you'll love it as well.

It shows Underdog? I absolutely loved that show when I was little. I think I'll go to their web site (if they have one) and see what else they have.

Boomerang is awesome. They show so many rare cartoons it's unbelievable. I'm pretty sure Boomerang's website has a schedule, but I'll post some here.

It's annoying because when Boomerang started here a couple of years ago they showed a wide variety of the older Hanna Barbera shows but now all they ever seem to show is Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry.

I have Boomerang as well and one thing I really like about it is it's relatively commercial free!

I meant to post that as well. It's *really* nice not being bombarded with commercials. I think we should all enjoy it while we can, LOL, because you never know when they'll change. I sure hope they don't though.

I know, I feel it's only a matter of time before dozens of commercials pop up and ruin it.

Same here. I mean, for an example, look at TV Land. It debuted back in 1996 with great classics, commercial free, and now? Well, I think we all know what it's like now, LOL.

I hate to admit it, but it's probably only a matter of time before Boomerang begins adding commercials, I just hope they keep continuing on with the classics.

oh yeah, i was looking for you anyhow, ive got 4 cds of burns and allen --- it looks like they are showing the same 12 eps over and over, is that true? if so, they are done.

Yeah, they do keep playing the same 12 episodes over and over and over again.

Yeah, we can trade again, that would be cool. Need to finish up a trade next week and then I'm free. I wouldn't mind taping Underdog for you. Would you prefer it in SP?

They might have aired it recently. I really don't remember. The name is so familiar, what was it about? Maybe if I was flipping through the channels and caught a glimpse, I'll remember if it was ever re-aired on Boomerang.

I dream of getting Boomerang!! I have watched it on Direct Tv at other homes but I do not get it on my local Cable. I email them almost weekly trying to get them to add it, but as of right now they keep saying no. I can always dream!!!!!!

Me too. My cable company (Dish Network) sometimes gives it to me as a free preview, but never for more than a week.

I thought I was gonna get it this month, but my cable guide apparently made a slight typo. :(
