I just found out that the room number of Freddie's suite at The Comstock was #216. It was listed on his death certificate. The address of The Comstock was 10300 Wilshire Blvd.

There's a copy of the death certificate on Croiter's site and it lists the room as #216. That sounds right to me as I remember reading on another article that it was #2...something. I also remember the article saying that Freddie's room was on the second floor. I wished I could remember where that article was.

That guy I bought stuff from a while back was in 213 I think....

I know this sounds strange, and I don't know if the guy was bluffing me, but back in '80 or '81 I called the Comstock and asked the front desk guy which room Freddie was in and he told me all the room numbers had been changed

To Croiter, that does not sound strange. I read that the hotel had done an extensive renovation, so it is plausible that they changed the room numbers. Thank-You for your feedback, as always.
