I got attached to the Powells.

The Pembrokes. Definitely the Pembrokes. The show was so much sweeter and didn't have to rely on sex and such and such to be a great show. It's so much different yet so much better than all other shows I've ever seen. The kids were definitely adorable and had an incredible bond with Charles that I just didn't see with the Powell kids. That hug between Jason and Charles on the last episode of the season was just priceless. They had great chemistry. I just love that.

OMG....I loved the Pembrokes....all of them!! But especially Jason...he was so cute and I loved how Michael Pearlman seemed to copy everything Scott did. :) He really looked up to him and it showed in the chemistry between the two. The hug at the end of the first season was so sweet and then in the first episode when the show came back (finally), it was so sad when they hugged goodbye again. I loved Charles' line...."how am I supposed to grow up without you?" AWWWW, how sweet. I just didn't see that kind of relationship between Charles and the Powell children. They were snotty brats who seemed to resent his presence. Sarah came the closest to having a close relationship with Charles, but it wasn't anything like the Pembroke children. Anyway, JMO. ;)
