Ok, today I was checking my e-mail, and It seems I had recieved an email from "WebShots." I put 24 pictures in there of Martina. They were just ones I had randomly collected from different websites, and some that I had gotten from this guys photo album. They werent HIS pictures, they were ones from album covers, mageazines, etc. I mean, he's the one who told me that his photo album was there if I was looking for pictures of her. When I see a picture taken by a person (with their own camera) I do not put it up on my website without asking them. Well anyway, WebShots said that I violated copyright infringement laws, so they took down every single one of the pictures I had up there. I dont think that I'm breaking the law unless there is money involved. I mean its not like I'm selling the pictures. Does anyone know the answer to this question? Im stumped and ticked.

I have no idea, but I would think if you asked him and he said that you could use the pics- I don't really see where you violated anything. If you had taken the pics without asking, that would've been the problem. You said you asked, so I don't see a problem. Email the guy back and tell him that you did ask. Maybe the guy was having a bad day or something and you were the first person in his path???
