Lucky you; you're getting GoodLife. I have all of the others, except GoodLife. Enjoy it while you can, you never know if your cable company will take it off (in the past few months, I've read that a lot of cable companies took off GoodLife).
Barnabas1 11-30-2002, 10:39 AM Hmmm..I've got TWC and I already have HALLMARK! Hmm!
Sitcomwriter 11-30-2002, 02:23 PM I don't have Goodlife or Boomerang (yet) but I have the other 2.Starting Tuesday my cable provider is adding Game Show Network (finally!)
TV Favorites 11-30-2002, 06:11 PM I wish I had the Hallmark Channel...
If I had time to tape-trade, I'd try to work out a deal with one of you guys that has Hallmark, but not Goodlife...I have Goodlife.

TV Favorites 12-01-2002, 12:00 PM Yes, GSN is my favorite channel!
Last year, on December 20, 2001, I got these channels:
TVLand (Ch. 65)
Home Shopping Network (Ch. 69)
Bravo! (Ch. 68)
Nick Games and Sports (Ch. 117)
Goodlife TV (Ch. 115)
and others that I don't watch
This year, on December 30, 2002, I'm getting these channels:
The Biography Channel
The History International Channel
Wham!
HBO Comedy
HBO Zone
Darn, I really wish that SoapNet was on there. It would be perfect if they put SoapNet in the channel 64 slot, where WE is. They can move WE to digital cable, and have SoapNet right next to TVLand and Oxygen on basic cable! I'm gonna write my cable company and request SoapNet!

If you ever get time, I'll gladly trade Hallmark for Goodlife. :)
dawsongirl 12-01-2002, 06:51 PM You know, this really sucks. I have a dish, and I don't get Goodlife. A DISH!!!
But I do have SoapNet. JT will be jealous.

Ditto on all of that.
Brian 12-01-2002, 07:20 PM I have Soapnet. I'm not a real soap opera fan, though.

I have ALL of those LOL.Here's what I think of each one:
The Biography Channel-Never watch it.If they had biographies about people I CARED ABOUT then maybe I'd watch it LOL.
The History International Channel-I usually skip past this channel. That's how boring it is.
Wam!-It's ok.You can catch some good movies on there on weekends. They used to air a sitcom called "Our Hero" (not to be confused with the britcom "My Hero"!) but I'm not so sure if they still do (It aired 5:30 ET on Weekdays right before the god-awful sci-fi crapfest "The Tribe" which just so happens to be their favorite and longest-running show). They also air a weird comedy series called "Atlantis High".It's VERY weird.I've only seen it once or twice but it's pretty weird.
HBO Comedy-This past summer My Television set was basically tuned into this channel LOL! Some good movies, decent stand-up and other stuff like that. The only sitcoms they air (that I know of) are "Arli$$" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" as well as the oh-so-annoying "Tracy Takes On" (Best part of that show is the theme song).
HBO Zone-How do I explain this channel? Basically it's late-night HBO crap like "G-String Divas" and "Real Sex" as well as Urban comedies and cult classics such as "Booty Call" and "Porky's".

Not exactley. I didn't know she had SoapNet, so I will be jealous. I was already jealous of you, though!

LOL. I've been taping Knots Landing since they started back at #1 in October. Have every episode so far. Same with Dynasty. Now if only SoapNet would acquire Dallas, I'd be a happy camper.
Well, you have GoodLife, right? So I'm jealous of you because of that, LOL, how I want that channel!
Barnabas1 12-01-2002, 08:27 PM I WANT GOODLIFE! WAHHHHHHHHHHHH! WAHHHHHHHHH!
I wish I could tape "Letter to Loretta," an old anthology series also known as "The Loretta Young Show," but the VCR on the TV with the digital cable is broke-da-mundo. I tell ya, if SoapNet would be added to my cable lineup on Christmas morning, and I woke up to hear the KNOTS LANDING theme song, I'd be in tears.

Hallmark and GoodLife are both great :) Boomerang is also good but I get kinda annoyed with their constantly changing schedule. But it's a great place to see your favorite classic cartoons, for the past month I've been watching and taping "Mister T" :)
I don't think my cable company is adding anything new. they rarely do. I need to write or e-mail them to request some channels like Trio, Oxygen, those other Nickelodeon channels, and Toon Disney. I'd request SoapNet (so I could watch "Sisters") but I'm betting that's mainly a dish channel.

Even though I have DirecTV (which of course offers SoapNet), I still keep up with my cable company and they offer SoapNet on the regular lineup. So, there may be a chance you could get it too by requesting it. Wouldn't hurt, right?

Oh cool! :) I guess I just might have to request it. I really thought it was mainly a dish channel. Thanks for the info :)
Impressions 12-02-2002, 05:49 PM Those are all really great channels, I would like to have Goodlife, but I know the network isn't wide-spead, so it's very rare to recieve this channel. Hallmark is also a very great channel, it offers a variety of shows, movies, and sitcoms, it is one station that provides a variety of shows into one network. Anyways, all of those channels are great additions to your cable, I hope my provider will add some more networks toward my area.
