I watched the E movie the other night and I believe it was DB who quoted something Freddie had said to him once.
"Friends come with the ratings,when the ratings are good you hear from everyone and when the ratings slip no one call."
Isn't that a sad statement? What does that say about hollywood? I wold say that when things were going poorly that was the time you need your friends.
No wonder poor Freddie was always worried about ratings and what the public would think if he would have sought treatment for his deamons.
After hearing that comment I have to wholeheartedly DISAGREE with James Komack that Hollywood wasn't to blame.
Maybe not directly, and maybe not totally but with that kind of moral support it sure didn't help him any.
