Ok....when you read to yourself, orrr like think, does the thought have a different voice than how you talk outloud? Mine does man. It sounds like an old man. Well, he isn't too old. 50 or something, but his voice is really mest up from smoking (well, it sounds like it anyway..). Oh ya, and I don't mean like a voice inside your head, just how your thoughts sound.....

Well I dont have a "talk to myself" voice, but I do have this whole Jukebox thing going on in my head. If I have a song in my head It will play EXCACTLY like the real song, except its only on part of it. Like right now I have "Swingin' Doors" by Martina in my head but its only on part. I have to listen to the song to get it out of my head. LOL Im a wierdo.

Depends on what Im thinkin about. Sometimes it's my voice, soemtimes it's my friends, sometimes my bio teacher, sometimes Benji... most of the time if im just thinking about random stuff it's my voice. Just a tad lower. the voice I talk in when i hear recordings of myself is the voice in my head. its trippy

I'm a psycho... I swear.... Okay I've got a good sense of picture right? So I can space out and imagine things. Like say... imagining I'm talking to one of my teachers. I will hear my voice, and then the teachers. So whoever I'm imagining, I hear their voice. And I see the picture, exactly how I want it to be. But if I'm only thinking to myself, it's my voice.

Make sense?

My thoughts often drown out reality. Last week i couldn't tell which one to focus on, cause I could barely remember which one was real.

Well, I never thought of voices being trippy...but you know what is? When you poke holes in foil, tape it on ur tv screen, turn on ur tv on, and turn off the lights...ha ya man. That's awesome.

That's exactly like how I am! And like when I'm thinking or like humming a song or whatever I hear the singer singing it in my head, not me...idk it is so weird..

Ditto! It actually gets quite annoying. I have to mouth the words to get it to the next verse.

Ditto again. I picture everything in my head. If I have to talk with someone or whatever, I try to picture it in my head, or even if I dont..I just daydream.

Whats it sound like? Hmm..I dunno!! I GUESS mine! I dunno..it sounds generic LOl. I bought my voice. Very normal sounding.

Good question. I was for some reason thinking about the same thing earlier in the week...
Anyway, it's pretty much my own voice. At least it is as far as I can tell. As for what Karli said, I agree. I try and see things in my head before they happen, like conversations and what not, and the voice takes on the image of whoever is talking. It's weird, freaky, and complicated...but that's my head I reckon.

Hi ,

How are you?

Great question! :) Yeah, my thought's voice is a little bit different from my regular voice. I can't explain the differences but I do know that they sound different from each other. Another thing that goes on within the inside of me is that I often get these songs stuck in my head - - - it is like I have my own little radio inside of me. The songs often get played over and over again. It can be entertaining but annoying as well. Does anyone get those too?

Thank you for posting such a great topic! :)

Would you quit counting your goddamn posts and being a candy ass suck up? You already have a horrible reputation, Lucyfan! Nothing's gonna change that either

hmmm, i have a couple voices...(im really not pyscho!! i just have muliple voices!)
one is kind of mean sounding. it tells me when im being stupid about something. kind of rough sarcastic sounding voice. can sound like a valley girl w/ a low voice sometimes...

another is when im thinking to write, like saying things out loud to myself, its kind of a whisper and has a little bit of a southern accent (o now where could that come from...lol)

general concience has my voice tone only talks very deliberately and slowly which is annoying.
