Just wondered how many of you folks are disappointed that Lifetime won't be running an all-day Thanksgiving marathon of the Golden Girls today? I look forward to this each Thanksgiving and I'm sad that it's not happening this year... :(

Yes, I'm a little disappointed even though I've seen every episode at least 10 times. I wouldn't mind a GG-DW-Mad About You going in 1 hour blocks, but I refuse to watch The Nanny! I gave it a chance and all I can say is, Lifetime, please get rid of it and give something else a try. This show isn't even good enough for the USA network. However, I do like Fran D. and I don't even mind her voice. It's the bad writing and the other characters that grate on my nerves. I would have loved to have a GG marathon all day.

Sad there is no marathon? Yes
Glad to have Golden Girls? Yes
Will I still watch it? Yes
I'm like shoc... I've seen them all, so I can't complain. I would like a marathon so I could tape, but oh well.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

It was announced a while ago that Lifetime was putting on a marathon of all their comedies, not just GG. But I'm glad that Lifetime is showing other shows besides GG and DW. They've been on there forever and Lifetime deserved some new shows on their network. Plus, GG is still played 6 times a day, let alone being showed on TV at all. Facts of Life and Diff'rent Strokes can't be seen anywhere anymore, so be greatful you still get to at least watch it. So go ahead and yell at me all you want. I could really care less if you do.

I only got to catch the 6:00 and 6:30 showings of the show today, but at least I was able to catch the Girls after overstuffing myself on all of that yummy Thanksgiving food! :)

I was a little disappointed, but they showed GG at least 4 times on Thursday.
It was basically 1 hr. of The Nanny, then the next hr. was Golden Girls and so forth and so on, so that was interesting.
