From the 1980's to 2003 the group America Sings was part of each preshow of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and every year for each parade America Sings would perform different songs with titles such as Celebrate America and Big City Beat and I would like to know how America Sings got involved with Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade? Also when America Sings didn't perform I learned that the group did volunteer work for charities and they would also perform at benefit concerts for hospitals and nursing homes. Why did Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade no longer let America Sings perform anymore? Did they have a contract with Macy's to perform in their parade and it expired?
