When I click the down arrow on ads like these they usually disappear. This one keeps popping back up not matter how many times I try to close it.

I think Google made some recent changes. It used to take just one click to collapse/close them. Sometimes it takes to two clicks to collapse them now. I haven't seen any that haven't been completely collapsible. I'll try to block that particular ad if I can find it.

Charles is my given and preferred name, but my family and close friends have always called me Chuck. I've had a few other nicknames over the years including:

Chad
Chris
Truck
Tuck

The last 2 were bestowed upon me by a couple of little kids who couldn't say Chuck.

I don't think he really likes it very much because he brought it up in the Moderator's Lounge. If someone asks you to stop calling them by a nickname or honey, then you should respect their wishes.

For some it may be acceptable. A good example would be Charlie Rich. He was born Charles Allan Rich, but was widely known as Charlie. Charley Pride's given name wasn't Charles, but some may have called him that. I said earlier I was fine with Charlie, but not Chas or Chaz.

There’s no conversation Dude111 can’t wedge a supposedly “poisonous” vaccine into that millions (including myself) have taken safely on a yearly basis for six years now. It would be funny (in a pathetic sort of way) if the conspiracies he gobbles up and espouses weren’t rooted in antisemitism and dangerous to the health of vulnerable people dumb enough to believe them.

When Dude111 cries about friends going no-contact over his stance on the vaccine, I don’t blame them and I don’t feel sorry for him. I had friends — some of whom I’d known since childhood — start frothing at the mouth in 2020 and 2021 about the “pandemic,” Fauci, 5G, the “jab,” “sheeple; etc., and I dropped them all like bad habits and never looked back because that kind of deplorable talk kills.

I knew people who ****ing died of COVID — otherwise perfectly healthy people who dropped dead in their late 30s and early 40s because of a once-in-a-life pandemic of a novel virus. I know exactly zero people, on the other hand, who died of or were “injured by” the vaccine. In fact, I know for an indisputable fact that the vaccine saved my life.

That’s why I always push back hard when Dude111 starts pushing these conspiracies: they’re deadly and they’re rooted in bigotry.

My guy, I am really sick. I’ve had a chronic, crippling illness since my 20s and now I’m in a wheelchair full-time because of it. Respectfully, why doesn’t there seem to be any consequences when he brings it up? I know he’s been told numerous times not to, but then he does it again in a week or two.

To summarize some of the main issues:

1) If there are any other major issues with the ads, please start or a new thread or let me know. I apologize if there's an occasional rogue or annoying ad which isn't collapsible.
